Bought 20 50ml amber bottles from Naturally Thinking, with lids they worked out to 45p each!....I dont mix much up at any one given time so i thought it would be better to use smaller bottles so i'm not continually opening a larger bottle.

When you decanting into glass bottles

1 You are best to do it with the nicotine base at room temp rather than cold this way you will get less small air bubbles trapped in the liquid ( cold e-liquid is thicker, air inside your bottle contains around 21% oxygen) ---- You can purge your empty bottles of oxygen before filling with a spray developed for the head space of part drunk wine bottles - not cheap but if you are interested search "Private Preserve, inert gas aerosol" it is a simple to use combination of argon, carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

2 If you are keeping your liquid in the freezer Any colour of glass is fine as the amount of UV light from the few seconds a day you might have the door open will have little or no effect

3 If you can don't put all your eggs in one basket - freezers can break - when they do it is not unheard of for them to go into reverse-turning them into hot boxes.

4 Stick a label on the bottle - last thing you need is someone binning your stash if for example should you ever fall ill and the family pop round to tidy your house ready for your return from hospital.

5 Try to use small glass bottle as they are very strong - Drop a full glass bottle over 100ml in size and chances are it will break

6 fill to the brim- it won't expand
