so i made a batch of banoffee cookie dough, i mixed at 18% using 27.8 mls of concentrate. anyways i asked chefs today what they mixed at (even though they recommend 15% on their site/bottle) got the reply that they mix at 30%.
ordered some more conc today, another 30mls. so how much nic vg and conc do i use to up the recipe to 30% but keeping strength at 3mg. if i remember right i mixed at 80 vg but i could be wrong there

from what you said, you made 150ml of 3mg @ 20/80? and you want to increase the flavour to 30% and keep it at 3mg? What nic base are you using eg. pg or vg and what strength?
Roughly worked out Add 25ml of flavour 2ml of Nic base
Shouldnt be too far off

imho just add flavour to taste and forget about the nic level its gonna be a marginal difference and wont effect your dosing to any noticable extent, and you will just regulate it automatically without even noticing by taking an extra puff as and when..

You made 150ml. I'll say it again . . . . this is the reason for not mixing vast quantities of anything, until you know for certain what percentage of flavouring suits your tastes peter12. It might sound tedious but it saves faff and disappointment in the long run. Incidentally, the majority of Chefs Ready Blended own concentrates I mix between 25-30% . . . . . so it's also useful to ask for suggestions before diving in, whatever a website might suggest.

Couldn't agree more, use the sites recommended percentage as a guide only and make 5ml or 10 ml sampler. Then use your taste buds to decide if its weak or strong and adjust accordingly for larger quantities.

So what do I need to get it up to 30% concerned but keep the at 3 mg nic and 80/20 vg/pg? You can't achieve a 80%VG/20%PG ratio mix with 30% flavour (which is in PG)

1 - If you have made up 154.4ml of eliquid with 3mg/ml nic and 80/20 VG/PG ratio @ 18% flavour You will have used: 6.4ml of 72mg/ml nic in VG, 3.1ml of PG, 117.1ml VG and 27.8ml of flavour 2 - A batch of 192.8ml of eliquid with 3mg/ml nic and 68.4/31.6 VG/PG ratio and 30% flavour would require: 8.0ml of 72mg/ml nic in VG, 3.1ml of PG, 123.8ml of VG and 57.8ml of flavour The difference between 1 & 2 is what you need to add:1.6ml of 72mg/ml nic in VG, 6.7ml of VG and 30ml of flavour[ETA] - peter12 .... I've just seen that you used 70mg/ml nic . I'll redo the calculations later if I get time, although the above will be pretty close.
