Well I think it's more important than the e-cig to join a forum like this. I don't think any of us would have survived without it. Chrissie is certainly responsible for our happy vaping experiences. Agree absolutely. I joined ECF and lucked out in the responses I received so learned. If I had of been in the UK chances are I would have found this one and done the same. That said I have been playing with forums for years so when a topic interests me I tend to look for forums with lots of people REALLY interested in a topic. Just tend to learn faster that way.

I was fortunate enough to find UKV when I first decided I wanted to quit cigs , it was costing me a fortune that I really couldn't afford , my wife for once wasn't nagging me to stop , it was at last my choice , when I started vaping just over a year ago , it was still a lot of faff carto's I think had only just come out , the learning curve was massive , but I liked vaping and was determined to switch over , I learnt a lot from the guys at UKV but after a few months I found AAEC which is imo a comparable site for advice , but a little more laid back , which suits me just fine , so at the end of the day I still have my Nic habit but doing it this way it's easily affordable and I saved over a massive 4k and thats allowing for what I have spent on vaping gear , another bonus is my stepson has quit smoking and is now only a light vaper after only 4 months

I only use the classified section of UKV. Never ever looked through the forum.
This was the first forum I became a member of & I haven't looked back. I find the advice ect that is given on here is enough to keep me a happy vaper.

I think those who don't know their way around forums or even using the internet to do some research do expect too much. My friend recently got an e-cig via a coupon in a newspaper and said it was really great. This was what first got me interested (coupled with another increase in fag prices). I did some research (not quite enough ) and found out a bit more. I think my friend expects her two wee cigalikes to last forever. I'm going to point her in the right direction for more info
