Ordered. I'm just getting 1 for now, but considering I have Amazon prime I can get another pretty fast. Unfortunately, I will still need to wait for juice. I bought some off novavapes unsure what they'll be like, but they had some interesting flavours. I hope this doesn't spur on endless experimentation again. The reason I say 2 is on these 3 points : 1. You may be "out and about" all day away from a charger and whilst a battery will last most people one day it's nice to know you have a fully charged one ready to go. 2. Failures; I have NO REASON to expect this battery to give out unexpectedly but just occasionally they do or even succumb to another mishap, a spare is ALWAYS a good idea IMHO. 3. The USB charger is slow, probably taking 6 - 8 hours to fully charge a battery.

just one wee point the subtank tank is a good tank but may be a bit much for someone starting out on ecigs because of the amount of vapor it can make if you find its a bit over the top get a evod tank and 510 adapter as these are more cig like in there use and give far less vapor so better suited to a new user myepack.co.uk/kanger-evod-clearomiser.htmlwww.stealthvape.co.uk/510-ego-adaptermight need it just to get used to vaping again and then move on to the sub tank

Welcome back mate, good advice already given, so no need to complicate matters, plenty of good kit out there nowadays, sub ohming is where it's at though, a 50-60 watt mod and a subtank and your sorted.

I thought my stuff had came, but it was just the bottle of Gaviscon I ordered. I guess it will be later in the day. Thanks for all the advice. I suppose I should change my location.. I moved back home. (Scotland)

Alright it came yesterday in sealed packaging etc, but I've noticed something on one of the thingies. There is a little black mark on the cotton and was wondering what it was. I tried to see if I could fish it out, but it doesn't move. imgur.com/cNvSoSqAlso the clear oring wasn't on the 'thingy', so I put it on it. Not sure if it's needed or not. Like I said package was sealed so couldn't have been tampered with.

Hello. The coils now use organic cotton and little imperfections in colour such as your pic are perfectly normal. I use those coils.
Enjoy.
ps the o ring is meant to be there .

Barry The instructions aren't particularly clear in that regard. I'm assuming put a couple of drops down the middle and in each side. I'm not sure which to start with though. The 0.5 or the 1.5? I'm guessing the 1.5 would be more to what I'm used to. Nice to see you're still around Skwoddy.

Yeah, just 3-4 drops down the middle and 1-2 on either side, give it a few minutes in the tank to soak as required, enjoy! Took a break from vaping much like yourself Ewol for 2 years, no smoking either, personal issues drove me back to vaping instead of cigarettes though so not so bad. I expect i'll give up again at some point but enjoying all the new updated equipment now available. Youll need more watts to heat the lower resistance coil and less for the 1.5, adjust airflow and wattage till you enjoy. Barry

I've settled on the mvp3 pro (tank isn't placed over power button, so leaks can't get to it like they can with the istick 50w) and black subtank+ (7ml) ... got both from myepack. Not myepack's fault, but the rba base in the subtank+ had a faulty screw; Ash kindly sent a new one. You can stock up on the subtank mini/+ bases easily from FT. Otherwise, you can use the standard coils. About leaking, if you use the rba, I use more wick than advised and really pack it into the 'corners'. Always good to have at least two devices, so I hope this is helpful.

Well, I'm not a fan of the subtank. The 0.5 OCC kills my chest and hurts my throat. Flavour is muted and I get dry hits in the 1.5 OCC. I thought this was meant to be significantly improved over what was available 2 years ago?
As for the RBA I tried it, don't like it either. It was warm and too harsh. I don't want to turn this into a hobby.
Does anyone have a recommendation for something that requires less messing around with and just gives me a consistent vape?

ive been using the istick 30w with the mini nautilus for the last few weeks, if you tighten the base up to much it leaks (it should have a gap between the glass and base just large enough for a fingernail to fit) I started sucking down on 10.5w and moved that up depending on what juice i'm sucking and what air whole I use.
I have a subtank that I chucked a tank through before putting it back in the box for the other half to give me for xmass, again I started that on 10.5w and moved up to about 20w where I found it was still a nice cold vape with zero throat hit and I had a choice of mtl or straight lung hit, in both cases I swapped the default drip tip for cheap plastic angled one so any blobs don't make it to my mouth (I hate sucking juice) but with the subtank I was using 0.5 stock coil rather hence the higher wattage.
before you jump at buying another tank unit, this is probably a stupid question but have you altered the subox wattage level and tank airflow and are you dry pulling (don't fire the atty) to prevent dry hits? I noticed mine drys the wick out pretty fast if I'm chain vapeing so I have to remember not to fire it on every intake or it starts to taste pretty rancid pretty fast /

Yeah, I made sure it was well primed. Left it for an hour soaking. Started with low wattage, working my way up. The 1.5 OCC head was alright for a day then it became muted, dry hits and never seemed to regain the flavor it originally had. I tried the 0.5 OCC head, doing the same as I had done before, but it would instantly burn the back of my throat. It was way too harsh for me and nothing I tried would get rid of the harshness.
I've already spent a fair bit of money and don't even have a working OCC head now so I want to make sure if I do buy something else that it's not something I regret (again).
