Mine has contact between the fire button and the cable and moves a little when I press the fire button. On a few FB posts the problem they are talking about is the button rubbing on the ribbon cable and rubbing away the insulation causing shorts and/or open circuits. Think I will sort it the way VapingBad has. I really dont want to lift the screen, seems pretty well stuck down and soooooooooo easy to snap. In case anyone reading this isn`t aware, the display screen IS NOT PLASTIC, it is better described as a thin slither of glass or crystal. Been there, done that ........................... fecked that display
The fix here will stop the rubbing and sort the problem,
Just done mine, a word of warning, dont think you can bend your clear plastic strip and simply push it in and hope that it gets behind the ribbon cable, it wont. The front edge of the plastic strip will push down on the ribbon cable and put a kink in it which could conceivably make it worse. You really have to work it in from the side and get behind the loop of the ribbon cable as in the pics above. When you think you have it done, get a torch and a magnifying glass if you have to and check it. If the ribbon cable has ended up underneath the front edge of the bent plastic strip it could be trapped in a position that ensures the fire button is always rubbing against the cable.
The other method, my display actually looks crooked when seen with the little cover off, but is spot on when looked at with the cover screwed back down.

Yea, I bent the plastic first and got the bend in the plastic behind the loop in the cable and worked it sideways putting minimum stress on the cable. You could also unscrew the board to get better access, if you want to stick it in just don't let the glue touch the board or switch, but mine is in there quit firmly

If you are careful with the trimming at the end, you can cut it so that it just tucks in where the actual display ends and get a really good fit, then a couple of strips of insulating tape over the meeting point and it presses it down snug

This shows the issue, it is not as bad as some mods are where the cable can get pinched between the button and the actuator, but the cable is not designed to have any movement or abrasion.

Has anyone had a look and found that it is modified by Wismec? I have yet to find one on the web where it has been corrected by them.

As I doubt I'll see mine for a good month or two, hopefully I won't have this issue!

Are there any reports of this problem affecting the RX200?

Took screen out and double folded the ribbon. Clamped the mod and used four fingers, pulled gently and equally with a slight twisting action...took about a minute then it slowly started to raise. Mine had a tab of glue at each end so I wouldn't start at one end, it would be more inclined to snap in the middle.

Just to add as soon as I see that video I opened mine too look its needs to be done, the corner of the fire button hitting the ribbon it's just matter of time before it goes. IMO. VapingBad method is safer, I have broke a screen before, treat it like glass if you go for lifting it.
