I do think we are being a bit too premature here folks. We don't definitively know anything about what will and won't be available yet, and for that reason there's absolutely no point in panic buying until we do know for certain. Whilst it has been stated that no juice will be available in bottles larger than 10ml, it seems to be that companies are going down the route of tamperproof cartridges rather than bottles. The only information that has been published are guidelines, not the actual policy; this hasn't even been finalised, so until it is we are fumbling in the dark and making up our own information. I suggest that we don't hold our breath, just sit back and wait for some definitive proclamation from the Government, at which point we will know exactly where we stand, and can budget accordingly. Hope that this doesn't ruffle too many feathers!

chykensabut we can say what will still be around because its used in a lot of other things, flavourings can be purchased in many high street stores, vg can be purchased in those same stores, all food grade since there primarily baking goods, hell my local supermarket sells food flavourings and extracts in either pg or vg solutions.... we know for certain that many cottage industries create homeopathic remedies utilising both pg and vg and flavourings because they are readily available and labelled as such in many places. the only thing we are not certain about is nic base, although I feel fairly sure that given the text of the draft regulations revealed thus far it wont be available in quantities above 10ml/20mg at least not legally .... and we know pretty much for certain that no e-juice will be available in bottles larger than 10ml because that's what the regulations say, we also know that most if not all current tanks on the market will become unavailable, that a large number of websites will disappear and video's to help people out will disappear or get geo-blocking switched on to prevent their access from the UK .... about the only thing we don't know is if our government will suspend the regulations after enacting them for a period to allow various businesses to legally dispose of any stockpiles of "non compliant kit" (apparently there supposed to give 12 weeks notice to allow them to get rid of stuff they cannot return...) we can also pretty take for granted that any website that remains after the legal changes will be geo-blocked to prevent access from various places, which will leave us at the mercy of the EUSSR's tobacco lobby. several people have spelled out the problem of e-cigs, they work that means no pay, thus they must be gotten rid of, groups like ASH have proponents that depend on the tobacco industry so hate e-cigs because they threaten their livelihood, big pharm falls into the boat as well given their dependence of sales of ineffective NRT products (ineffective by design not by necessity) the new regulated version of the e-cig will be more expensive than smoking, just as ineffective as other NRT and generate just as much cash for the TCI as tobacco does....

about the only thing we don't know is if our government will suspend the regulations after enacting them for a period to allow various businesses to legally dispose of any stockpiles of "non compliant kit" (apparently there supposed to give 12 weeks notice to allow them to get rid of stuff they cannot return...) From the draft regs: "(5) The provisions of regulations 36 to 38 (product requirements etc of electronic cigarettes) do not apply to the supply of an electronic cigarette or a refill container where— (a) the product was produced before 20th November 2016; and (b) the supply takes place before 20th May 2017." para 50, page 27. So there is a 1yr grace period.

Not sure why everyone likes to get bent out of shape over this. Just prepare yourself, you all know what you need to do to be ready Forums won't be shut down, that's just sensationalism IMO. They do seem to be waning generally though

The forum I am sure will be here just as it is now, discussing the same stuff in the same way. Nothing in the regs would indicate otherwise.

Have read through the thread with interest so not to take away the comment s and opinions of any I'm glad I ignore the the law and regulations. I do what I want when I want and no body has ever told me what I can or can't do. As an adult I know right from wrong and treat all with goodwill and respect who so deserve, just as my grandad brought me up. So feck the TPD it can kiss my arse....

Fingers crossed the erstwhile judges in Brussels agree with you letsavit. We should have their first thoughts later today.

That was an old statement GeoffUK . We won't get the final judgement today, but the legal opinion by the Advocate General to the judges who will make their decision, probably around March 2016. It should give us an indication on the legal merits of the case. From the TW site. Change of date for Advocate General’s opinion. We have received instruction from the CJEU that the opinion of the Advocate General, that was due to be received on the 17th of December 2015, has been pushed back to the 23rd of December. No reason has been given for this change. We will of course let you know their opinion as soon as we have it. For those interested you could keep an eye on this site. article20legalchallenge.com/latest-news/
