Hey guys,
I'm having issues with my subtank mini.
The top cap of my RBA coil some how got left behind when I removed the base and now its slid down the centre tube and I can't get my fingers or anything in their to pull it out. I figured the only way to get it out would be to remove the glass.....unfortunately I can NOT get the glass off for the life of me, I've pulled it, I've twisted it, I've twisted and pulled it and pulled it and twisted it but it will not budge.
If I grip/pull any harder I just know the glass is going to break.
How can I get the glass off safely?

Try using a bent paper clip to pull the rba cap up the tube, put a small L in the paper clip and hook it under.

I would suggest either putting it in some hot water, then grip with some rubber gloves and it should come apart, or the opposite end of the spectrum, put it in the freezer and remove using the rubber gloves Cheers Glen

Funnily I had the same problem with hubbys one today top of chimeny got stuck rubber gloves and a good tug got the glass off no freezing but that was where it was heading if it didn't budge! I swear it always happens on the days your really not in the mood or don't have time to piddle about with them.

i normally screw the barrel bit back onto the top bit stuck in the tank and gingerly pull it out with some long nosed pliers. Sorry that dosent help get your tank apart. But will add loob the seals with ejuice before reassembly will help keep it from becoming fused together in the future. Good luck.

Mine have always released after sticking the tank section in warm water, twisting and pulling at the same time.

Thanks guys. I managed it by dipping it in hot water for a while then gave it a good pull and it came off in my hand. When I took it off I noticed the rubber ring was stuck to it, I had to peel it off and it sort of felt like it was glued to the glass..weird. I haven't put it back together yet but I will lube it up before inserting it so it comes off easier next time. Thanks for saving me

i would use the spare seals for the rebuild, you can get back up seals from fasttech for pennies and in all colours too..
