Hey Ladies and Gentlemen
I am on my mix master classes ( reading and mixing making mistakes and doing it all over again)
I got some mixing goodies from Make my vape a little while ago.
I did receive some TFA and FW flavors and some enhancers.
What i want to know is...
Where should i but the PG-VG from and also Nicotine
Where should i buy flavors from - What company should i look for ( pref decent strongish ones that want to give flavor - Like fruits / sweets flavors )
Once i have all of the above - How do i store my nicotine ( ive heard in other places to store it in the fridge ) - Where - how do i store my PG - VG
Also last but not least - Any one recommend any recipe sites - calculators i have been using the 1dot calculator and it seems pretty good.

Tfa/Tpa (same company), capellas, flavourart, flavor west, flavorah, inawera are some of the best but there are a few others recommended too and I'm sure someone will have something to add, it's all trial and error no matter what you do, but when you get there the recipes you'd like to make will come quicker to you as you learn what flavour or enhancer does specifically for you..

Yes freeze the nic, preferably in glass bottles. It won't actually freeze but will will thicken up considerably i just just keep concs in a cool dark place rather than chilling but chilling is fine if you prefer.

If you have any specific flavours your after it may always help to ask which one to buy and if anyone knows a percentage to mix it at as a starting point for you also.. I don't bother with putting concs in the fridge just a cupboard but it will make them last longer and freeze my nic if I'm keeping it for the years to come just keep enough for a while out ready to use.

trollminer - yes, freeze the Nic Base. It will just go very thick and gloopy, like vodka does. I would wholeheartedly suggest that you look through our recipe section in the Mixology board first and choose a couple of recipes to try, then go shopping for those specific concentrates. This way, you can buy what you need; otherwise you will end up with a load of flavours which may not combine easily, costing you money for no return. Once you have made a couple of good tasty juices, you will start getting a better idea of what goes with what, and at what percentage. I use predominantly TFA and Capella, and you will also get a good result from some of the one-shot concentrates from Pink Spot or Chef's own blends too. These will not take as long to mature (custards need 4 weeks minimum), and you will be vaping them within 24 hours, although they will improve if you leave them for a couple of days more. I would recommend the "mix calc" at the top of this (and every) page - if you register with the site, you can then save all your recipes, privately if preferred, so that they are always there if you want to replicate them. Carefully add all the ingredients and strengths, and if you want, take a screenshot and post here for confirmation before you get stuck in!

As others have said, The ECig shop and Chefs are both excellent , Liberty Flights had a sale on a lot of the top branded concentrates, but I am unsure if it's still on going.

ive found i get a good flavor around 15 / 20% i did make some 5%and 10% but fond the flavors weak.
So just to recap....
Freeze Nic ( deep chill ) - Take out up to an hour before use Pg / VG chill and remove also an hour an before use
Keep concs cool and in darkish place
Next question is......
How do i clean and reuse glass bottles ( there brown / amber in colour with the pippets ) .... I have found that some of the juices i mix seem affter a day or 2 taste a little chlorine tasting

For larger bottles of nicotine base yes keep in the fridge or freezer from this larger bottle decant around about 1 months worth into a easy to handle size bottle for day to day use - you will only need to keep it in a coolish part of your house Storing plain PG or VG in the fridge- seems pointless as both PG an VG keep for ages at room temp and is best to used warm or room temp As for buying flavours you and your taste buds will likely find that every brand of flavouring has a number of outstanding flavours a number of very nice ones plus the not so good ones along with some that will taste just rank- but others will find the same flavour outstanding.
Have fun Not every mix can be saved with menthol

Also last but not least - Any one recommend any recipe sites - calculators i have been using the 1dot calculator and it seems pretty good. Lots to explore here trollminer within the pinned posts, Members own recipes and links to numerous other sites around the web: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/board/40/recipesbreaktru's calculator and recipes could also be worth a look . . . . his calculator I find excellent, all I've ever used and if you should want to mix by weight at some point in the future, then there's a grams option also. ejuice.breaktru.com/How do i clean and reuse glass bottles ( there brown / amber in colour with the pippets ) .... I have found that some of the juices i mix seem affter a day or 2 taste a little chlorine tasting You could try an overnight soak in some plain Bicarbonate of Soda, then a good rinse through, or a few cycles in an Ultra Sonic Cleaner if you have one.

I haven't seen Vapable mentioned much on these forums but I ordered twice from them just before Christmas, PG & VG plus some Nic (at 48% worked perfectly for me and works out at pretty much the same cost as 72% on my spreadsheet (bonus safer to handle) so not sure what all the fuss is about there), plus a boatload of concentrates, syringes etc. For what it's worth I was very impressed with their prices, speedy service and quality of the products. I'll be ordering again tomorrow thanks to Kreed's dastardly custardy influence ;-)
