It's just not happening for me

Right as you all probably know iv been having no luck at all with my DIY next to no taste or harsh as hell iv done 50/50 70/30 vg pg low Nic low % with concentrates high % but no joy at all.

yesterday I went to my local b&m " the ecig shop " I was talking to the guy in there about it he said try this it's my DIY it was very nice and tasty, he gave me his recipe and told me he uses everything from there shop so I bought everything came home mixed it exactly has he written it down and guess what yep next to no flavour and I'm using exact same tank,coil and wattage has he was I'm proper stumped now as what to do.

minime - are you giving your juices time to mature after mixing? Some juices need a minimum of 4 weeks to homogenise and mix at a molecular level before the flavourings come together.
Also, are you using the same setup as the one you tried the juice on in the shop? This can make a massive difference to a juice's flavour.
Could there be something awry with the bases and nicotine that you are using? I'm just trying to find an explanation, not accuse you of anything

Yes mate iv got juice here that's 2/3 month steeped that others say is nice.

I was using the exact same set up has the guy in the shop he even written down the watts he was using.

Iv swapped my supplier quite a few times to try to eliminate the basses.

I really am at my whits end because I just cannot figure out what's going wrong and tbh I cannot afford to buy pre made juice.

The guys DIY I tried in the shop was only mixed that morning he said it's good to go after a good shake but gets better after a week, it was very good the same day.

have you tried "One Shot" mixes like the ones from T-Juice like Red Astaire, Black n Blue, Cubana etc?

Iv tried the likes or red Astaire and vampire vapes blackjack and there ok BUT iv been on them for 3 year now and I'm pretty board of them to the point of I'm really not enjoying them.

Have you changed your coil as it seems to me to be the only thing that could be killing your flavour and if you
have, try a new one.
I have had some duff coils in my time along with old ones do drop flavour .

The other thing is when other people tried your home made did they use your tank or there`s .
If it was yours and it was ok to them, you may need your pallet reset. Best way I know to do that is use a strong menthol
flavour. I always run one tank with a menthol mix like blueberry or blackberry menthol, for me it keeps my other mixes alive
and its rather nice a bit like the first bite into a airwaves. Well the blackberry menthol one is.

Good advice from philvapes there - I sometimes need a strong Menthol flavour for a couple of hours to clean the tastebuds, ready for the next custardy onslaught!

There are loads of good 'one-shot' concentrates around which are worth a pop. Look at Chef's Vapours 're-Branded' range for some inspiration.

I really can't figure out why your mix wasn't the same as the one you tried minime. Changing a coil might be worth a try, but sometimes it's the first blast of a new flavour seems wonderful, then after an hour or so it seems quite bland as the palate gets accustomed to it.
Personally, I have 3 or 4 flavours at least in rotation every few hours; today I have started on my own Christmas Tipple (Custard, Cinnamon Danish and Brandy), then an hour on Red Astaire and I'm now vaping Strawberry Yoghurt, and will probably take a large tank of Custard out with me tonight. That way the flavours are fresh and new when I start them, rather than tasteless and bland.

Iv been having this problem for a year now.
Iv been threw loads of stock coils in a tfv4, crown,sub mini,tryton and iv been rebuilding in my goblin mini sub mini and so on.

Friends have tried my dy in there tanks and say the same that there is little to no flavour.

I must have at least 20 different recipes mixed up at anyone time that I try threw the day but tbh there rubish.

I do have a tank full of eucalyptus and mint that I use and that is a strong flavour.

The strange thing is I can taste others DIY no problem I can even tast things like hangsen so I'm sure it must be something to do with what I'm doing but god knows what.

Can I ask how your measuring when you DIY? Are you using drops/syringe/scales?
Only other thing I can think of sorry if you've already mentioned it.

I always use syringes, yep iv changed them 4 times to rule them out to. I think iv tried everything tbh and still no joy but I know I can taste others DIY and iv done everything exactly like they have but no next to nothing this is what is really frustrating me, iv been trying to sort this issue out for a year now.

Nothing wrong with re-using syringes I was wondering if you were using drops as that can change from bottle to bottle but it's not that It is a strange one that the exact same mix can taste so good when someone else makes it but nothing when you do it yourself I hope you find a solution soon minime it would drive me nuts too.

Tbh it is driving me bloody mad because I know iv done everything I and others can think off and the problem is still there.

Do you keep them in anything different to others ?? as all (and you) have said its a strange one if you mix the same as others but only yours is weak.
