Clapton wire is a new thing for me and having heard rave reviews about coils using it have got some on its way from our buds at FT. I have never tried it but have heard it everywhere recently. The tanks I use are for MTL as I have no interest in cloud chasing or simply going full potato. Prefer the nano size tanks and not stock coils as I can build a coil (not pro or anything) but manage quite well.
Can you guy suggest a couple of tanks which will take either single or dual clapton wire?
It's a rookie question I know but hey, I got to as somewhere and get laughed at hehe

You will not get laughed at! No, SERIOUSLY. Ok in answer (sort of) to your question. You really need higher resistance coils if you are going to MTL (mouth to lung) as the air flow is restricted so cannot cool the coil. Clapton coils by virtue of what they are, are low resistance coils (lots of nice thick wire for current to flow freely) therefore needing more airflow to keep the coils cool enough to avoid burning the juice. Also there is the physical size of them I think you'd struggle to fit one into a very small RBA (i.e. a Subtank RBA). That's my (untested; but in my mind logical) opinion and someone may well be along to prove me wrong!

Clapton wire isn't really suitable for MTL mate, you have to dump a lot of power into them to heat them up and they retain heat for longer once you do heat them up, you really want lots of airflow which is no good for MTL vaping.

mini goblin has a very small build deck but is a good wee atty you can get claptons in but you will have to make your own wire using 0.2 wrapped with 0.16 to be honis you can put a clapton coil inany thing if you got nuff time and space but the thicker ones do suffer from slow ramp up and they norm need a lot of power to wake up
making your own wire
wicking the mini goblin
28 mins on for wicking, the vid is for the full size goblin but it works well on the mini as well i do like my mini goblin and its one of my few go to tanks
hope that helps

I'm running Clapton in my Mini Nautilus. They are fine ,to be fair they do take a little ramp up but do give a bit more flavour and vapour .

I have A Taifun GT-T V2 with 26/32 Clapton, 2mm diameter horizontal coil going at about 0.7ohm (5 wraps), and a Lemo (version 1) with the same wire, 3mm (6 or 7 wraps) that is around 1.2ohm vertical coil - both do me fine for MTL.
Must admit, I was surprised the Taifun took the wire with those small screws, but it works fine.

Must admit, I got the Clapton in a fit of 'because it was cheap' and my first builds just took too long to ramp up (as I saw someone else say somewhere, press the button, go and have a cup of tea, feed the cats....), gave up on it but then found with fewer wraps this is no problem.
