Hi folks,

I'm after someone with more intelligence than me.
Therefore....ANYONE....

I purchased a Uwell Crown from here the other day from a lovely member (stop sniggering at the back) but it only came with one coil (didn't expectv it to come with any.)
It's a Ni200 coil which I believe is for temp control only. I don't use TC (I'm too stupid) so does this mean I can't use it on wattage mode?

Thanks folks. I'm desperate to try it but have no coils.

As Ni200 has been proven to release toxic fumes at a lower temps than Nichrome or Kanthal, I would say a definate NO....
Plus the resistance will fluctuate with temperature. When you fire NI200 in wattage mode on your device it will read the ohms differently every time its fired due to the coil temp and it will continue to throw that set voltage even though the resistance is constantly changing. So on performance alone it would be shite....

Nope, you cant use it. I have not moved into TC either, just seems too much more faff to me.

You can't use Ni in wattage mode im afraid, resistance is way too low generally.

Set your fuchai to ni mode, set the temp to around 450f and your good to go

A few options for you RangersBillyBoy, all except the 0.15 option will be fine for your mods subject to their minimum resistance. I'd be confident the 1.2 or 0.5 ohm options will be fine.
