True robby and the other one "if you haven't got something nice to say, don't say anything" bears repeating, but I know I fail to live up to these sometimes. Also true Bluefish nobody has to go to hospital or the billion and one more serious things that happen in the real world.

Sad to see the loss of two good members, but as others have said ( speaking from experiance) far better just to break from the forum than deleting your account.

To be honest it's getting a bit boring now. An argument erupts, a member leaves, with or without flounce. Another member starts a sorry to see them leave which antagonises any other members with an opposing view. Then said member rejoins and starts an I'm back thread and waits for the glad your back posts. Generally there's a bit of further antagonism and ill feeling throughout the whole process.

For me if you're hacked off just don't log on and have a break for as long as you need.
If people close accounts they should be asked to confirm account deletion twice, maybe 24 hours apart and after that bye bye.

Not aimed at anyone, just a general observation.

Chrissie takes the forum offline for a while, which gives the Mods a break and hopefully, makes the rest of us realise what we'd be missing if it wasn't here. I'm pretty certain it would leave a gaping hole for many of us.

This is said 'tongue in cheek' as I need my 'fix' most days... even if the subject has nothing to do with vaping.

how's about no,

where else can I get the days news without debasing myself to joining "social norms" and "following" 100's of news/blog/group.... you get the idea, other people do that and provide links to stuff that they are talking about, also I need to retain access to there stuff as well like the latest bit of gear and such like knowing I can dip in /out when I get hacked off with whatever game or film I'm forcing myself to endure ....

and that totally ignores the frequent need ot search for stuff to find out if someone else ever had the same problem that's got me hitting the boards in search of a cure ....
