Member Status.

Hi,

Potential stupid question alert!....... I was curious about how the member status works with the stars under your username.

I've not been a member long so I follow that I'm a new member 1 star. All makes sense so far!

But whilst looking through the forums I've noticed other members with 3 or more stars - full members or super members which have also only been a memeber since January 2016. At the same time I noticed a post from another new member 1 star who had been a member since May 2015.

Can anyone shed any light?

Not sure but i imagine it's to do with post count.

There are a few people who left and came back, they had their post counts restored.

Yes but I think you will see my membership to the politics forum rather than my member status.

Toddy ... below is the reply from Chrissie from a couple of years ago...

1-4 posts = new member title & one star
5-19 = junior member title & 2 stars
20-249 = full member title & 3 stars
250-499 = senior member title & 4 stars
500 onwards = super member title & 5 stars.

Plus I've added 1,000+ (too much free time on your hands!)  ... only joking!

Edit: Just realised that doesn't seem to apply, so must have been revised. I'll shut up and wait for the oracle

Just worked one out. Mine just changed to junior member on my 50th post!

I suppose if I post enough I could work it out eventually haha!

Anyway back to the red!
