My guess is an intermittent connection issue that affects refinement every now and again, I had it with the Origenny 2 a couple of times when it got cold after > 5 hours without use and cleared it by extreme tightening of the common ground of the sleeper coils in it. So most likely an atty design/manufacture issue causing a raise in res when it gets cold, but I could be wrong. I don't get it with the 4 DNA 200s I'm using, but they are all running Ni200, I can't be bothered with the NiFe30 or SS ATM I just find Ni200 easier and a better vape, I am running Ti on a DNA40 to get higher res.

Could be the board mounting or ground strap screws need a little tweak jtc See how snug the one under the white foam plug in the battery cradle is, that is for the ground connection.

Well, my Rolo DNA is playing up too, it doesn't like fresh batteries at all, even 95% charging off the mod and plugging into escribe for a 0.5A trickle up to capacity isn't great. It definitely surges on a full 4.2v battery, I had thought that it was the difference in ramp up time between a 1x/2x/3x 18650 device but nope its really throwing some power at the coil.
I checked the earth screw under the foam plug, it was tight. I took the front off, the battery tray out and for what I can tell its no different to the strip down pictures. I will do a hard reset tonight and reload then full wismec profile and upload my battery profile.
Ok its an inovative 3x18650 device, the first full production model but its definitely got some issues.
Oh yeah and the vents.....pretty but ultimately pointless in regards to case charge-cooling

how strange you guys get those issues with the dna version but the rx200 doesn't have them all, it does trip out the tc when the batteries are swapped but that's the same as the evic mini and the koopor plus
I guess they all share the same chipset /firmware just with different top end power, which would make sense for a cheap product price point, but I haven't pulled any of htem apart and I don't charge through the device, because the bookelts say not to do it regularly and I have the xtar vc4 which charges 3 batts from empty to full in under 3 hours....
