Essentially I appear to be completely unable to stop buying them! Having just taken delivery of another 600 this morning. Thanks to a brilliant recommendation from Get Off My Cloud, these are my current favourites . . . . perfect if like me, you have age related near sight/close work problems. The holes on these coils are a doddle to thread cotton through, in all the available ohms. I love them so very much, that I'm certainly buying more! www.fasttech.com/products/3033/10016556/3351600

Coils the new concentrates Perpetua? They are a great idea for folks that can't coil or can't be bothered and at that price it's no more expensive than wrapping your own I got a tub from a lovely forum member and I will say on days I can't get my hand working they are a god send

Very possibly violetblade, they certainly take up less space! They are a great idea for folks that can't coil or can't be bothered and at that price it's no more expensive than wrapping your own I got a tub from a lovely forum member and I will say on days I can't get my hand working they are a god send Exactly this. I just CBA'd struggling with magnifiers and all that malarkey . . . . . convenience every day for me when it comes to coiling.

Yeah, I've got more in the FT basket! Since I 'converted' to mesh & S/S rope, I'm finding that I'm using the 'ready-rolled' more & more.....if I'm in the mood for fiddling about coiling then the ribbon wire comes out!

I heard before than Chinese kanthal isn't the best standard Is that rubbish? I suspect most if not all the coils purchased are from China and they will and I use the word loosely that they will all be the same wire.

I too am a fan of ready mades wires they are so damn cheap I prefer to spend my time fitting them - not making them! I'm always taking note of forum recommendations And now then yourgurnard where are these ready made mesh wicks? as I have a line LE that I could do with testing out ... (the easy way)
