Headphones for bed?

I love listening to my ipod as I goto sleep and keep them in all night, now H&S will be on me, but dont bother.



Now I had a great pair of headphones that fit perfect, stayed in and I could not feel them when turning over on the pillow, but my dog sneaked upstairs and ate them Smiling



So I purchase Sony, Apple and HTCs Beats in ear phones and I cannot find a pair that dont hurt my ears by cutting into them when I turn over.



So do you have a pair that do the job in bed 



What are they?



This thread may die on its arse, but I suspect many of us go to bed with earphones in, well I know at least one other at work.



Any ideas.

I had a cheap pair of Sony on-ear ones yahoo2u2, they were brilliant but eventually the thin vinyl material on the padding part started to disintegrate and leave black bits all over my pillow. I think they were only about £15 in a supermarket, and I'm currently on the lookout for another pair - if I find some I'll let you know

I'll ask the obvious yahoo2u2, why not buy another set of the perfect ones you used to use or do they only come in beef flavour ?

The sound quality is adequate rather than amazing, but you won't beat them for comfort in bed.

not much sticks out when in ear and i also wear em in bed

I'm not a H&S nut but having seen someone garrotted by his headphones when startled and falling out of bed in the morning (stupid 0340 attack alarm) I wouldn't take the chance of going the same way and having someone else see the mess it makes ..... only good thing about that mess was a mortar round blew it away 25 mins later and because it was a "crime scene" we weren't there ...


but hey its your life you live it how you please millions (maybe billions) of people sleep with headphones and only a few hundred are reported worldwide to die from it most years so its not something that's "likely" to occur and risk management is likelihood x severity =action not severity =action (which is what some people in the job seem to think) /

i have a cobbled together Bluetooth sweatband that fits nice in my woolly hat
got a pair of over ear headphones and removed the drivers shortened the wires and slipped the lot in to a sweat band
plugged it in to this and woalar stealth tunes

I used to have 1 of them pillow mate speakers that slip under the pillow.
Sound was surprisingly clear but obviously not as sharp as in ear speakers.

Because i cannot remember where I got them or what they were

And if I get decapitated from falling out of bed, then so be it
