One of the smokers at work has put in an official complaint about the clouds the vapers are producing in the smoking area! You couldn't make it up

Obviously nothing is being done about it, but I'd love to know which Muppet complained. They are on their own too, even most of the smokers find it hilarious/stupid in equal measures.

Most of the people I work with who vape have moved on to sub ohm tanks, so the complaint could have been about anyone, but if anything it'll encourage people to chuck bigger clouds.

I only indulge in cloud chasing when asked to, I'm a bit like the office performing seal, so I doubt the complaint was made about me, but I'm sorely tempted to start whacking the power up!

Oops, I forgot to mention that I'm not surprised someone complained. We are talking about a workplace where a woman once made a complaint about someone being gentlemanly and holding a door open for her. Sexist apparently.

The lad in question got marched away from his team by a shift manager and politely asked not to hold doors open in future. Thankfully the woman no longer works here!

It's funny how sanctimonious some smokers can be.
I was walking in a Cornish town the other day behind two women smoking roll ups. As I felt physically sick I overtook them and exhaled a huge cloud of strawberry and raspberry yoghurt. As I did so one said "them bleddy things stink, they should bleddy ban they"(not my bad English just repeating their attempts at English.)

Seems like an ideal chance to ask for a separate vaping area which will avoid the possibility of people suing them in the future for effectively being forced to be passive smokers and when they say it's too expensive remind them there is no legal requirement to restrict vaping in the work space. I know probably nothing would come of it, but even an anonymous note to the right managers may plant a seed in their minds.

Just got back from the pub after a few jars with a fiend that dual fuels, (she smokes when drinking) and as we sat out in the covered area matey has a moan about my vapour. Ok inside the pub my MTL vape isn't an issue but a Griffin ticking over at 60w, outside with smokers seems to be annoying.
Shut up pretty quick when I told him that could smell him from where I was sitting.......over the cigarette smoke

Well I was on 30 cigs a day and I can hand on heart say I was never satisfied with vaping until I got a dripper and a uwell crown tank.
I spent loads on other stuff but it just didn't cut the mustard for me.
I like clouds and flavour and I do it my way.
I try not to be annoying with it and I find my own space and blow away from others as much as I can.
It's absolutely hilarious a smoker having a dig and it shows they must be intellectually defunct imo.

I was once told off by a Principal for keeping a door open for her, she glared "I dont need a man to hold the door for me!", I said true, but you probably need one to fix your car eh..... This was about 20 years ago now, so nothing changes eh.

She never spoke to me again, as if I cared.

TBH, some of these cloud chasers are really annoying the hell out of people. Regardless of what the vapour contains, it just hangs about and looks really bad, now 2 or 3 people doing this and its just damaging our cause.

We now have at work an issue of teenagers vaping in the toilets and setting off the alarms 2 or 3 times a day. we have people in wheelchairs etc and its not good atm. They would never light a ciggy (usually or rarely), but think they can vape and not by stealth.

A lot of things can be annoying if done in the wrong environment.
Sorry but imo clouds ain't the problem, it's the people blowing them where not appropriate.
In the OP's case the person was in a smoking area where really they shouldn't have to be next to stinkies.
Then a stinky smoker has the audacity to complain about a vape cloud.
