Oops ! I thought that the idea of vaping was better health & SAVING CASH ? Jeez, I'm as dumb as a bag of spanners....... I used to spend about £90 @ month on rollies. papers etc. Started vaping 7 months ago; 7 x 90 = £630 saved by not smoking SPENT, ahem well.....(pauses for effect) in total £390, but to be honest I have got enough E-juice to last till about Christmas, batteries to last till 2016 (I kid you not !), atomisers are lasting around 4 months and I have got 10 brand new ones, 5 in use & 5 ready for re-building (got wick & Kanthal ). So my next purchase will be towards the end of the year, hopefully lol. TOTAL SAVING £630-£390= £240Must admit that I am not one for all the latest 'all singing & all dancing' vape gadget tech, after smoking roll-ups for 30 odd years I quite like the reassurance of familiar things so sticking with the Rok Star will not be a problem, cannot fix what ain't broke.....

Well I was 20+ a day, now with LT, Visions and juice i'm spending a heck of a lot less, like 1/3 the amount and still dropping. I will not be buying a Provari because it's functionally identical to a LT - electrons are electrons, wherever they come from.
I'm not keeping a strict count but I assess every purchase primarily on value for money grounds. I have had a few odd expensive mistakes along the way, like ego T and C, but my bank account is definitely healthier to the tune of several thousand.
I don't really belong in a consumer society. #icon_cry#

Like Alvo I keep a spreadsheet and I have an Android app on my phone which I update with every purchase, and although I have spent over £200 more than I have saved, the break even date is starting to get a little closer (8thJune at mo).
But the way I look at it is that I am a lot healthier and should live longer without the nasties, therefore I will be able to work longer, and earn more, which will give me better chances of breaking even and eventually save!
Every purchase, large or small, is an investment into my future. I live within my means so won't need the 'second mortgage', but push the boundaries every once in a while!
You only come this way once - enjoy it whilst you can!

almost 3 months vaping, havent really kept track of how much I have save but an approximation is £92 in the time since I've started...... but I have treated myself to perfume and Yankee Candles as well and am sure to be tempted by other accessories to enhance my vaping Well it is good for my health and there was a scientific study that said shopping extended your life span

i certainly haven't. quite the opposite. but i am kitted up now so its just carts and juice from now on ( yeah right ). but i guess you have to look at it as not just a replacement for cost of cigarettes but also a hobby, and hobbies cost money and you have to factor that into the equation.
cigarettes were boring, but essential part of the monthly budget. to a large extent i feel people buy mods and extra juices for the fun of it, not because of the necessity to maintain an addiction....

Absolutely true for some of us vapers James, to an extent I believe it depends upon your personality . . . I've a addictive nature and any hobby I've had, it's been embraced with a passion . . . to the complete exclusion of anything else. I'm cool with my vaping spending, as I don't buy anything else at all these days . . . other than the necessities of course.

I meant necessities such as bread & milk Karma . . . vaping supplies are utterly essential.

This is why Mr Karma hasn't blown a fuse. my clothes/boots spends are dramatically reduced (apart from wedding atire) due to my vaping hobby. and let's face it, vaping parcels from the postie are small, clothes and boots parcels big, so therefore, vaping spends small clothes and boots spending big I've also been keen to remind him about how the cost of groceries and fuel keep going up, no wonder I'm skint

I have no idea why ? #icon_rofl#

I'm a real skinflint, so have mainly only bought what I've needed. Used to smoke on average 50 cigs a day so have saved many thousands of pounds - even after buying my GG's

I understand that Chrissie, but how do you know what you need until you experiment with all the goodies out there?
