I'm looking to thin my Boots VG with some Purified water from Tesco. As its not always available, I managed to clear the shelf of VG in boots today. I now want to dilute it a bit as its super thick and I want to try some high VG mixes, what percentage do you guys use?

For every 90ml of VG I add 10ml of distilled water or vodka.

Usually it's deionized water used in steam irons / car batteries ... which is not manufactured with human consumption in mind. Purified water BP is a pharmaceutical grade purified water which is ok for diluting VG. Distilled water for human consumption is also ok, but harder to come by.

Not sure actually but would think that any distilled water would do - but it's definitely purified or purified distilled water for VG dilution if required

There's a few places that do it Greg and I agree totally it would be the easiest option for leroy4bz had he not cleared out his local Boots store

Vodka can also be used although apparently adds a degree of harshness/throat hit (and some people prefer to avoid alcohol). Purified water BP is very cheaply available through pharmacies though. Aqueous Glycerin is usually made with 10-15% water.
