Maybe you guys got a batch in which the innards are pushed a little too far in
If you shave off the bottom of the silicone cap it'll let juice in the middle tube and gurgle....The cap should press the wick and make it droop..
The correct way to reassemble would be to tighten the mouthpiece all the way and back off one turn. Then insert the innards till the silicone cap touches the tip of the mouthpiece. Then tighten down the mouthpiece. The seal is made by the mouthpiece slightly squashing the silicone and the washer behind it provides the strength to make a flat surface..

None of mine have developed cracks so far I've got 6 (only 4 opened though) they all seem fine, the only problem I have found is that on occasion (only rarely) I get a mouthful of juice, no idea how lol but other than that I love them! ETA: just checked the unopened ones and there might be a minuscule crack at the base of one but it's so tiny I can't be sure if it really is a crack.

I think Dave got them from Poland.. ego2.pl/en/kartomizery/32-510-cs3.htmlThey're called CS3 XL on that site...Dave gave them a good review.. They are filled using a syringe directly like a CE2. No bungs or stoppers. Be careful what you buy. Confusingly, there are older CE3 XL's still in the market which have a rubber bung/stopper...Those are really bad. Edit: Here's a UK supplier.. www.exhalecigarette.co.uk/product-p/ce3.htm

absolutely hating my stardusts......enough to smoke 20 in past 3 days.
got 1 from gotvapes and other from HC and both ar like sucking a tin of baked beans through a straw. enough so ive had to take the bottom band off. flavour is only there for about 20 minutes after dry burn cleaning and im constantly on edge as i keep getting a gob full of juice. oh and if i flick the top of my ecig juice always comes flying out.
using on a riva and ego.

How to put back together:
Screw the mouthpiece down as far as it will go without over-tightening, then unscrew it by a full turn.
Using an attached battery, line up the top of the central column/cap & washer with the bottom of the mouthpiece, pushing it up as far as it will go. Rotate it as you look at it, to make sure it's properly centred.
Unscrew the battery without disturbing the alignment of the column. Replace the bottom retaining ring. Push it down onto a hard surface to push the ring as high as it will go.
Screw down the mouthpiece.
Check that the central column is making a seal with the mouthpiece and properly centred. If it's not aligned properly it will leak, so start again if this is the case.
Overtightening the battery can also ruin the alignment.
Dry hits generally arise because either the wick isn't wet or the voltage is too high.

1. Check is the top collar is all the way down.
2. When you tighten the mouthpiece hold it up to the light and make sure there is no gap between mouthpiece and silicone cap..The cap should be slightly squashed.
3. Check that the mouthpiece is sitting in the center of the silicone cap and not skewed.
4. See if the silicone cap is making the wicks droop by pressing on them lightly..
5. If no to point 4 above there is a gap between the bottom of the silicone cap and the wick which will cause the gurgles. I've seen one like that. Then only option is to replace with thicker wick..3 mm works best or treble up 1mm wick.
