1. Check is the top collar is all the way down. 2. When you tighten the mouthpiece hold it up to the light and make sure there is no gap between mouthpiece and silicone cap..The cap should be slightly squashed. 3. Check that the mouthpiece is sitting in the center of the silicone cap and not skewed. 4. See if the silicone cap is making the wicks droop by pressing on them lightly.. 5. If no to point 4 above there is a gap between the bottom of the silicone cap and the wick which will cause the gurgles. I've seen one like that. Then only option is to replace with thicker wick..3 mm works best or treble up 1mm wick. we're recommending these to newbies Well I don't think it's any less faff than carts/atties or cartomisers. Let alone CE2's and other fancier stuff. Seems to me most folks get along with them OK and had they been around when I started, I probably wouldn't have tried so many other things. Just imo.

maybe they just suck (current batch that is)
ive had no problems with ce2s and even had more pleasurable vaping experience from ce4+ but these are just useless.....somthing that make me revert back to analogues is just a joke.
looked in me box and got me trusted era cartos out and they absoltly wipe the floor with them and gotten rid of that desire to smoke tank god.

Sorry to hear others are having problems with them. I've had nothing but good ones since I got them. Have around 10 on the go at the moment, between hubby and I, and the first I got a few weeks ago is still going strong.
I haven't taken any apart (and don't think I'd be able to go the whole rewicking route etc), but as I say, have had absolutely no problem with any of the ones we have. Using them on 1100 Rivas.

Could well be a duff batch.
That's the frustrating thing about e-cigs, nothing much you can do if you find you have bought duff accessories.

I wouldn't say we are fussy, we just want things that we've paid for to work.

They suit me pretty well, better than cartos and roughly the same faff level. They're far from perfect, but I think everyone has different requirements and preferences, things they are prepared to tolerate or not. I've not had a serious duffer yet, but it may just be luck.
I don't mind them being a bit technical, as long as they vape well and have reasonable cost of ownership. But to avoid their techy side, you can just chuck them away as soon as they start playing up. It's only skinflints like me who want to make them last for months.

I need some new ones as all of mine are failing miserably but I think I'll try to hold out until Jason at Vape Escape gets his new batch in and hopefully they will be better

Sorry Macca, I missed your response.
I think we have a different batch to you, my wick doesn't droop, it's really short, and if the rubber pushes onto it too much it simply doesn't wick, if I make it so the rubber barely touches the top of the wick, it works a treat, no gurgling, no dry hits, burnt taste or anything else undesirable.
While I'm here, and on the subject though, is there any chance you can link me to the weld I need to get to solve the cracking issues please, I can't seem to find the thread it was mentioned in.

I'm on my second full day with mine now and have to say I'm loving it. Haven't had any probs that weren't my own fault. I didn't let it soak for long enough before I first used it, probably only about 20 mins, but by the next morning it was great. Been using Kangers up till now and although they are good, the vision seems to give a slightly better taste, and you can see when it needs topped up instead of topping up all the time and wasting juice. I've only used about 2-3ml in the last 2 days, normally it would have been 4-5ml. The only thing is I need to remember to leave it lying on its side so it soaks through the wick, could maybe do with 2 more holes at the bottom?

I'm surprised at the problems people are having and they are no faff at all to me, far far less than carto tanks. AND I've stopped getting juice all over my hands.
Just the same as Alva, the only problems I've had is tightening the mouthpiece on too tight, just enough to touch the silicone condom is enough. Then the flavour is the best I've ever tasted.

??? can honestly say that I have about 10 of these on the go and not had a single problem, I havent taken one apart, and I hardly clean them, if I do, its a simple swill under the tap and sometimes I shake dry, sometimes I leave them overnight. Taste is lovely and so easy to fill and use. I have had one crack at the base but a cut off condom slid down over it and its fine, not thrown any out, my oldest is about 6weeks old.
There must be different batches floating around, my first ones came from Gotvapes, next from Daz, then more from Group buy Health Cabin, I have one coming from Jason and 3 coming from Vapourhut, also three coming from Perpy's clear out.
