im not mixing as such but adding. right, the coconut concentrate arrived from flavour art so now the fun begins. now dont baffle me as ive never mixed % in my life so i need this in noob simple terms please. ive got about 150ml of creamy strawberry with a twist of vanilla custard (but without the strawberry as tried in 9 tanks at wattage from 20-80watts and theres not a hint of strawberry). so i have 150ml of a creamy vanilla custard. so i will start off with a 10ml bottle of custard (without the strawberry) and the simple question i need answered is how many drops i should add as its pointless telling me 0.5% of the square root of a beetroot as i will have fek all idea what 0.5% of a 10ml bottle is. i dont have any syringes or mixing tools so its literally going to be a tip and mix. now be gentle cheers jim

Drops can and do vary considerably in size MrDJ . . . . as can the potency of concentrate ranges - I'm thinking that the FA dripper is probably quite small? So depending on how much you'd like this to be the dominant flavour in the end mix, I'd try between 6-10 drops in your 10ml. ( Which is around 2%-3% working on 30 drops equaling 1ml. ) You can always add more if it isn't as strong as you'd like . . . . not so easy taking it out though.

As Perpetua they most certainly vary, and drops are a tiresome thing, your fingers can get quite stiff doing that syringes are cheap so something to consider and the calculator can take most of the work out of things. Just a suggestion.

MrDJ it's also worth bearing in mind that once you've added the coconut it'll take a couple of days to steep/blend in with the rest. So if you add #drops and then try it straight away you may think it's not enough coconut and add more. I'd be inclined to leave it a bit and see if the flavour deepens first

I'm sure I've read that Coconut takes a while to make its presence felt MrDJ - welcome to the most infuriating aspect of mixing - THE WAITING!!! Be patient, and you may be surprised at the results after another week of steeping

So to combat this...i make tons of different recipes to forget about the older ones..makes time go by quicker

Hahahah thats mad - a whole bottle of coconut and you can't taste it . I don't have FA Coconut but FA conc's are usually very strong so maybe you have some strange coconut immunity!!! If you want a really potent coconut concentrate then try TFA/TPA Coconut Extra (at small amounts - I really don't recommend tipping a whole bottle of that in )

Very surprised about this FA concentrates are usually very strong. Although they do have a fail like their custard is meh, so maybe the coconut might be a fail as well. I'm not sure how a full bottle hasn't prevailed even after a short time. Don't let it put you off mixing though as we all have fails. In time you will find juices you like and be happy you experimented
