Bottom line is Gearbest inadvertently lied about a product price, once again, which was on their site, after assurances that it wouldn't happen again. No, they didn't make the original post on here but it was on their site as a flash sale in big red letters.
No, its not up to anyone else to tell someone what to buy or not. Nor is it up to anyone to assume someone needs it or not.
This will happen again and probably again. All I can say now is Gearbest = buyer beware.

Blimey. I cant see why your concerned about this forum. Ive not seen anything on here that concerning atall!

Ive been on other forums and i can safely say this is the best forum ive been on. Its run proffessionally yet with a relaxed vibe. All members come across as polite and friendly.

NO, one post IIRC, why are you trying to make more of a drama about it and blowing it up out of all proportion?  Though I am sorry that the staff felt they needed to account for their movements, but it was on post not enough to judge a group of members by.

I have seen people leave because GB fans have had a go at them for posting their experience or opinion several times, but really don't understand your point.


The header on this site says "A friendly, helpful UK forum where everyone is welcome" yet recently sometimes people are made to feel unwelcome because they asked the wrong question or complained about our pet vendor.

That is not directed specifically at any member, just an appeal to remember what this forum is about.

I did try to warn folk, but sadly was late on seeing the thread , personally I will never use GB again, others may like the fun of the chase ...,but I prefer to spend with a vendor that acts appropriately .

No one can blame the Mods, it's up to every individual to make an informed decision. Imo GB are masters in bending the rules , yes you can get a bargain now and again. But this sort of thing has occurred on at least 4 occasions now, how do all the other vendors manage to price correctly, yet GB has issues every few months?

40 plus orders from FT never had a problem yet, says it all really.

If I had one plea to make to every Member who has or hasn't posted on this thread, whatever their stance on the subject . . . . it would be, please don't let us fall out over this.

There is so much sadness and grief in our world that something like this doesn't even warrant the energy, truly.

Our forum has always been a place for all to participate in, where hopefully everyone feels valued and part of the ' whole ' - let's keep it that way despite the occasional bumps we go through.
