Anyone know if the issues with temp control, especially with SS have been resolved with newer firmware?

I just watched (well, flicked through ) pbusardo's review and although he gave a thumbs up to the mod overall, had reservations about the temp limiting especially with SS.

Do I need Samsung 25r ICR batterys or INR ??

I would go for the 25R every time, but those would be OK if you are only ever using it below 40 wattish.

I dont know the difference between 25R ICR and 25R INR

I have ordered the green 25R INR pictured above, hope these will go ok. I never go above 22 watts
PS can I vape lower than 20 watts on a sub coil and tank and any ideas on what tank to go with this shiny red one ordered, I would like a similar colour reddish tank but not sub ohm unless I can run it at about 10.5 -12 watts

Any sub-ohm coil, then you'll need 20 watts and over to vaporize your eliquid properly jacey , otherwise you'll find yourself with gurgles and leakage.

You could always try something like this:

With the RBA deck, then it can take whatever ohms you'd like to put in it  . . . . I've had several of these and although it says ' styled ' they've all come with an original Kangertech deck.

Bought another evic mini yesterday - couldn't resist at an extra15% off

jacey I use the Samsung 25r INR ones in my Evic Minis these ones

 I vape around 1.4 ohm coils at 9-10 watts and they work well for me

Indeed they are a very nice device and the price. Spot on IMO. Always charge them on usb every night never been a problem for me as I use them for work

Thanks for all replies, do these two fit together ie clearomiser and kangertech-subtank-mini-rba-plus-coil or do I just need the subtank-mini-styled-bell-cap-clearomizer

Got one of these today and a very nice mod they are too, the only thing is the gap between the mod and atty is pretty huge, anyone else had this or can suggest a fix?
