I go through a mehhhhh every now and then as my taste buds decide to reject every flavour I enjoy. This woefull experience is usually followed by a night of frantic re-wicking and futile juice selection.

None of the above,a few hours of menthol solved the VT and all was fine after until yesterday when the metallic taste came.

Well it's still there,i have tried all my juices and tanks but no good,it must be me,i wonder if i'm magnetic.

was just thinking it sounded a bit like the symptoms when you have the early stages of tonsillitis or measles for that matter (just had them thanks to my beloved kids .....) made vape taste foul but I stuck with it and things went back to normal after a week

I gave my son some new authentic Kangertech OCC and SSOCC attys from FT the other week. He says:

"Those square ones seemed to have a nasty burning taste".

The round being the SSOCC type which he says are ok. He is pre juicing them I know. So this has to do with crap materials various I think. He burns at max 15W.

I'm sticking to rebuilds unless dire emergency which includes rebuilding the OCCs. Haven't mastered a SSOCC rebuild yet.

Been following this thread with interest cos I get the metallic taste thing quite a bit and I suffer from bouts of acid reflux quite a bit, could be onto something there yorkshireman
