I'm not really into dripping but since someone gave me a mutation x v4 clone I'm kinda liking the extra flavour I get by using the bottom air holes. The problem I have is the mutation leaks ejuice & i think it comes out of the bottom air holes & then capilliary action takes it around the base & before i know it theres a pool of liquid running down the mod, usually over the soddin button as well !! Also I dont use the side holes, infact im going to tape them over so I dont have to worry if ive put the top on & its covering the side holes....but its still a messy job taking the top off, adding a few drops & then the juice squeezing out down the sides or creeping through the side holes (ive tried dripping through the drip tip & its stiil the same if not worse) Im not sure if im doing something wrong, perhaps to much wicking ? or the coils are to big ? perhaps im over filling ? i only put 3-4 drops each side between the coils & screw posts & for that i get 2-3 puffs if im lucky before i have to drip again (thats the bit that puts me off dripping) So as I dont know much about whats on the market can someone reccomend an RDA thats simular to the mutation x that might not have these faults ?

Though I can see with those big ole Clapton coils that they'll easily gobble up any eliquid you put in. So from someone who is very much out of the loop with more up to date drippers, I'd suggest putting some coils in that aren't quite such big guzzlers . . . . or looking for a dripper that has more of a ' well ' which will hold a greater volume of eliquid without flooding if you want to use them. Something like a Velocity or Geekvape Tsunami, though I'm sure you'll get plenty of other recommendations than mine . . . . . vaping360.com/geek-vape-tsunami-rda-review/

You will always get some juice on your mod from a bottom airflow dripper no matter what you do. Even if it's just droplets spitting off the coil when you fire it and condensation build up in the air holes that weeps out.

I have an X4, all considered it was one of my favourite drippers. Flavour, plenty of vapour and great adjustment, it beats velocity clones hands down. The problems with it are the leaking particularly if you like the bottom air flow and the small juice well which means that you are constantly topping up.
It may seem an expensive option but I'd recommend an original Aeronaut. Ithink that it would be easy to spend the same amount of money on four Chinese Rdas or clones and still end up with the same problems you are having.

I like the mad hatter dripper www.gearbest.com/rebuildable-atomizers/pp_277668.htmlalthough if you like fruity flavours don't get the painted ones, its got a huge juice well with bags of airflow and its simple enough ot refill, I can drop about 1ml of juice into it and the only problem is the stuff spitting out the sides when it crackles, also it has a 510 drip tip adapter and works well some picks of it although i'm in the process of rewicking you can see its a beast of a dripper and capable of a lot more than I chuck at it got mine from GB and the price is fantastic imho,

I think youre right with all of that Perpetua I've come to the conclusion i'm trying to get V6 performance from a 1.4ltr dripper !...If you get what I mean. I have been playing with it & trying different coils & wicks (thanks for that phtumshk, ive tried it & it does make it better thumb up ) Trouble is im just not getting the flavour from standard wire that I do with claptons :-( Thats a really nice RDA stevef ! looks like its well built/machined & well worth the money, but £40+ and another £12+ for the air flow kit (watched a couple of reviews & they kinda said you need the extra AFK to get the best from it) & p&p on top...My missus would go ICBM if I spent that much on 1 atty !....lol Whats your views on this FT copy one ?? thats only about £6.50 ! I probably wouldnt get in trouble with that one lol www.fasttech.com/product/3820601 (I'd block the top air tube off) Ive looked for a 1.1 clone but havent found one yet. A friend has also recommended a Snapdragon ? www.fasttech.com/product/3749700 (yep its another cheap clone i'm afraid..lol) but its getting some good reviews ! Thanks nanotm Its around the right price for me, but I think thats a bit more than i need ! up to 8 coils ??!! thats a beast !....lol

markusnot sure you could put more than 2 coils in it to be honest its only got two posts on the deck although I suppose if you did some weird kind of arrangement of vertical and horizontal you could possibly put more in there

My favourite RDA is the Freakshow Mini. Amazing flavour.
