I thought the McQuaig test was a psychometric test?
More about your personality rather than your intelligence.

These sorts of tests are not new. I remember being interviewed in London for a Littlewoods store management trainee position back in the late 60s. 50 or so questions where you had to give your first response in so many seconds, and one still sticks in my mind today... "Do you still sleep with your Mother?" WTH? I got the job, but after 2 weeks told them to stick it, as the people running the training were complete prats, or so I thought at the time, me being a down to earth West Country yokel.

it sounds like the Asda 'Magic' online interview, designed to not have any single wrong answers but the combination of the answers you give defines your suitability for employment.
I applied to Asda for a home delivery job, simpler to say I failed the online personality test. Good enough to deliver medication to terminal out-patients not good enough to deliver Smart Price chicken nuggets.

I'm 100cm3 as its the amount the object would displace. Ask us another one! (quite like this!)

The job is a mobile service engineers position Work from home, company car etc
The company can only pick up so much when you fill in an application form or chat about the position and your past work history Which is why the use the extra test to just your numeracy skills, literacy skills etc
I'm at stage 2 now working with the agency to try and get references sorted out
Nine years living in Spain, playing dodge the bulldozer with an illegal house and a global recession going on which has killed most of my prior employers is causing a nightmare trying to sort them out

For mathematicians a solid object has volume but you could certainly make the case that in everyday use the volume means what Lee says it means. Same as it's not wrong to say a tomato is a vegetable just because botanically it's a fruit.
