vaper's cough

When I was vaping 50/50 manabush/RA etc on a nautilus I had a pretty bad cough which would start when going from cold enviroment to warm and vice versa mainly, since going sub ohm, lowering nic and 70/30 or max vg, its much less frequent touch wood

Antibotics tend to be the first course of treatment it seems thesedays . . . . I won't call your Doctor hopeless @tmfkatubthumper, it's a process of elimination for him as well.

And he did say to go back if there wasn't an improvement.

Which I hope you do.

My hospital doc is good - literally saved my life 11 years ago - they aren't all froot loops (only when they see me in the waiting room )

Back to the Doc today, put on another course of antibiotics, a steroid
and to book me in for a chest xray so fingers crossed.

to everyone that replied, I thank you for your helpful advice, since cutting right down on subs and just using mods I have noticed I am not coughing as much, I am still using my two itaste mvps and I have had them nearly two years so I am going to stick with them, they are very reliable, my only problem I'm experiencing now is I am gradually losing my taste, I've tried about 25 different flavours and I can't taste any, is it my age, (I'm 77) any ideas on getting my taste back or is it too late JamesRD.

assuming your not just using well past bin time coils then;

you need something with serious punch like brain kicking menthol to chug for a day or two, after that everything will taste better,

think of your taste buds like a coil, every once in a while you have to remove the old wick fire it at full power to rejuvenate it and then with a new wick things taste great again.

if you cant stand menthol i'm sure someone else can recommend another flavour that will do the same thing,

I find I cough more with a more open airflow, now using 12mg juice with a more restricted airflow.

nanotm, It will have to be another flavour of some kind, I can't stand the taste or smell of menthol even with my non existence of taste buds.

yes I have started to use the non air holes type of vaper and I'm not coughing so much. JamesRD
