It makes you wonder why they waited for the tpd to come into force before they threaten to kill it as it will also kill the tobacco side of it as well.They could have warned that would happen if they pushed the good and the bad together at the same time

True, in relation to parliament.... but its also in support of Lord Callanan's motion at the House of Lords, which just requires as many as possible signatures.
At the moment the Lords have all the power if they vote for the fatal motion, not parliament.


[ETA] - But I agree .... 100,000 would be nice and if every vaper got the word and signed.... it would be a lot higher! Get the word out!

True, but there's nothing to stop the UK government introducing similar tobacco law if the TPD is annulled on the grounds of the ecig component, although I'm not very well read up on the Tobacco component of the TPD to know if it makes anymore sense.
