I could be wrong, BUT I think Lord Callanan's fatal motion in the House of Lords and the supporting campaign (that I hope you are all contributing to?) appears to be rattling cages in some high places.

Full marks to MEPs Julie Girling and Vicky Ford.

You know, seriously, if Europe is going to work and we don't want one country after another considering cutting the Brussels umbilical, then dictating laws based on poor science, vested industry involvement and the money trail is no way to conduct affairs in the 21st century.

The entire EU parliament should consider just a what point they have the right to choose whether people have access to products (purchased by those individuals, not the state) that make a life or death difference.

And so it jolly well should.

It's about time those in Government whether they're MEP's or MP's took notice and acted on what we all know to be true regarding the many positives ecigs have for the health of the individual and nation!

Let's hope Julie Girling and Vicky Ford's action galvanises a few more into support.

Good for them. It would appear you may be right Postmodern Smoking. The speed of our campaign seems to have taken the establishment and big money by surprise. Lets hope the vote in the Lords takes place before they can organise a counter attack.
