I really like the look of eNVy17 Stealth Mod and I may buy one of those anyway but I'm now thinking/realising I won't get everything I want in a basic mod. So, based on what you've told me, I think a mini mod is out of the running and even one which houses the tank inside? My priorities would now be: 1. Interchangeable 18650 batteries. I panic if I don't have a backup battery and backups for my backup when I go out 2. Still able to use my Mini Protanks until they give up the ghost. 3. A nice, leakproof, easy to use new tank would be great so maybe a complete kit would be a good option. 4. A reasonably discreet size. If I'm missing something please feel free to prompt me 1) Evic mini - see link above. 2) are your minis ego or 510 connectors, if ego you'll need an adaptor for most box mods on sale these days. Adaptor so are only pennies though. 3) as your not in sub ohm and or DTL vaping I'll leave this to other MTL vapers. 4) See 1)

The istick would be fine but I think you'd be dissapointed with the melo tank, sub ohm and lung inhales are its forte. Have you considered a nautilus tank.

Greg, my Protank 2 minis are ego threads so I'll get a few adaptors for them. Can you suggest a decent tank to try with my new mod?

As above the new nautilus x tank could work well with the Evic

Hi Greg, the EVic Mini looks like it could be ideal. I'll read up on it now. Thanks I got my eVic mini from Joyetech (the real shop, part of Vaporbrands/Totally Wicked). The eVic before it (the VTC) was troublesome and I'd had some bad experiences with buying Joyetech and having no warranty. It's been terrific and I think it was worth the extra £5 to know I could send it back. www.joyetech.co.uk/accessories/evic-vtc-mini/evic-vt-mini-e-cigarette-battery-mod#.V0mwBWgrLIUI would get the Grey or Black with the updated software.

Whilst the iStick 60w is a LOVELY well made mod it's pretty chunky and maybe a bit big in a ladies hand. The Evic mini TC is a fantastic mod, a bit smaller than the iStick and also very sturdy, as said above you do not have to use all the temperature functions.

Can I throw a spanner in the works? I have been a protank girl pretty much since I started vaping, I have about a dozen or so minis and about the same number of full size tanks and coils to last years lol (plus wire for building my own) and I bought a Nautilus when I was thinking of moving on to something else however I really really didn't like it - its a different vape to a kanger tank and I never have been able to get on with it and went back to all protanks and thought thats where I'd stay however I now use kanger subtanks I "retired" my last protank about a month ago - for me the subtanks are like a vastly improved protank nice and airy vape if I want it or a tighter draw if thats what I fancy I can both mouth to lung and direct to lung vape and can switch between sub-ohm and full ohm as and when I feel like it with different coils. The coils last agggggggges and they can be rebuit but tbh because they last so long I don't bother, I've also got the new version rba deck in one of the tanks which is great for rebuilding but I'll probably still use the premade ones on a day to day basis just because its faff free.

Not sure about those batteries as there's no discharge current mentioned, without this info and given they are recommended for phones and other low power devices they may not be best suited for vaping. Go with these instead, cheaper and guaranteed to be suitable for your vaping needs puremist.co.uk/2-SAMSUNG-25R-INR18650-25R-2500mAh

Thanks Greg, I'll take a look at the batteries now. Thanks Des for you vote on the eVic and putting me wise to the size of the istick 60w. Snow, I know what you mean about going back to the Protanks. I've tried a few others and found they were too airy for me. You lost me half way through your post when you mentioned sub-ohm and full-ohm as I don't have a clue what that is I tried rebuilding the coils for my mini protanks and failed miserably. I know I need to educate myself to bring me up to date in the vaping world so I'm going to have a look at the Kanger Subtanks to see if I can figure out what they are and how they work. Has anyone tried an aspire plato or an istick pico?
