Evening All
Can I ask the consensus on wicking these style tanks? Referring to Avocado 22 & 24, Haze, Theorem, Limitless etc.
I've seen that RIP, Mike Vapes and others will have the cotton just reaching into the tank while others, Vic included seem to stuff quite a bit in there. Although I noticed that Vic filled the Avocado 24 through the cotton holes and not the fill hole!!!
I've tried the latter and found it OK on the Avocado and not so great on the theorem so am going to try try the former and will get back with some thoughts but in mean time has anyone else tried both and what did you think?
Cheers
Paul

I'm using my theo straight out the box. Lots of cotton. I think I'll trail the tails thinner when I rewick it.

I don't have one so I may be talking rubbish but from what I can see they are missing a breather hole. Air needs to get in as the liquid gets used, so I would drill one. Maybe in the bit that plugs the fill hole. Just saying.

I think unless your vaping it with the mod stood on a table you only really need the cotton just filling the holes with a small amount under the deck. Tilting it when you stick it in ya gob will wet the wicks. With long fat wicks you get to a certain point where gravity will stop the capillary action and youll be left with half your juice stuck in the wicks.

I have a Theorum tank and I cut the wicks so they hang down and just hover above the base of the tank. Make sure you don't choke the wick holes, there needs to be a bit of space or looseness between the wick and the tank deck to allow juice to travel up the wick.

Possible fix - cut the end off one of these and stick it down one of the wick holes. Length 25 mm - I guess a bit longer if you smash the handle instead of cutting. Probably wouldn't need to touch the base.
