Sorry my tanks are the normal Subtanks I should have read it properly. Can these be modded?

tsoko like tim said you file the juice channels with a needle file, a triangular file is best and then cut the four air holes into two air slots with a junior hacksaw, don't forget to clean well to get rid of any metal filings. I have both versions of the rba deck and the V2 design is just a bit pants imo. With the juice channels right down at the bottom on the original you could vape the tank almost dry the higher juice holes on the V2 means your not getting the full capacity before you need to refill. Plenty of people disagree and like them but each to their own.

A quick tank dismantle and couple of pics I've just taken with my phone in bad light so apologies for the quality. decoy please feel free to post your better quality pics or a link. I remember the thread that's where I got the idea so crediting you for it, not my idea and it much improved the vape for me.

Air holes cut into a slot on both sides to improve airflow.



Small juice channels enlarged with a triangular needle file for improved juice flow and wicking.

I'm going to try this as soon as I can get hold of a small file, pound shop maybe.

tsoko yes they can be modded. The four holes you have for airflow, you make them into two slots by cutting between them with a junior hacksaw if you get me. The juice channels can be enlarged with a triangular needle file, or a round one if your like tim and like to brag about size lol

I got a reply today JayJ. Sadly they inform they are the latest rba's. I have toyed with the idea of filing juice channels in the new one's. Although you'd need enough wick to block the side holes as well. If I get round to giving it a go, I'll let you know the outcome.

To Q, I thought seven quid was steep, so at nearly a tenner, just so I could use the rba is downright robbery in my books. But then, I'm not Rothschild. More Twist

Gives you a spare tank though, the afc has started failing on my oldest subtanks now so it's worth it for the spares

True Q, but it's really only SWMBO that uses them, and she has six I think. That's enough til I move her on to something new. The new tanks are nearly as reliable now, so it shouldn't be too long.

And there's always my collection to fall back on. I have one or two I don't use much.....
