Does anyone know of anywhere still doing the V1 subtank mini rba bases ? Well I think they're V1 with the two little juice channels at the base of the chimney. I have a couple of the latest ones with the juice holes on the sides of the chimney and I got better wicking from the old type with 5 minutes of modification.

Jay Hi Jay What modification do you do on these? I have 3 of them and sometimes they do mess about, just curious.

With regards to modding I just file the chanels in the base a lot bigger. I only use 2mm (lil blue screw driver) 1 ohm coils and there never seems to be enough cotton to fill the V2 RBA so I much prefer the V1.

They were discontinued JayJ. However, if anyone does find some on sale, I want some too. Like you, after modding them, they are better than the v2's imo. tsoko, I have filed the juice channels larger on mine. You can also improve the airflow by filing the four air holes into two air slots on the base pin. decoy posted pics somewhere, but I can't find now.

The description says Mini RBA plus, which is the newer one. I'll have to investigate. Cheers

tsoko like tim said you file the juice channels with a needle file, a triangular file is best and then cut the four air holes into two air slots with a junior hacksaw, don't forget to clean well to get rid of any metal filings. I have both versions of the rba deck and the V2 design is just a bit pants imo. With the juice channels right down at the bottom on the original you could vape the tank almost dry the higher juice holes on the V2 means your not getting the full capacity before you need to refill. Plenty of people disagree and like them but each to their own. A quick tank dismantle and couple of pics I've just taken with my phone in bad light so apologies for the quality. decoy please feel free to post your better quality pics or a link. I remember the thread that's where I got the idea so crediting you for it, not my idea and it much improved the vape for me. Air holes cut into a slot on both sides to improve airflow. Small juice channels enlarged with a triangular needle file for improved juice flow and wicking.

£9.83 on FT & you get an authentic subtank mini with a V.1 RBA (Their description says 'styled' but I've had 3 of them now and if they're clones I'll eat my hat)
