Yep; I'm reckoning they'll be well suited to a B/F dripper for squonking....gotta try & find where I put that Velocity clone!

Too big for the Velocity,.....won't even fit that lumpy ol' dripper that c/w the 'Terminating Owl' squonker!...

Update:- Being desperate to try these; I managed to cram one into a FT Avacado clone, using it auto-dripper style.........not good!.....had to go regulated & whack it up to 30 Watts just to get a whisp from it...
Thinking that the air-flow needs to be from underneath...al a Kennedy or Magma...or fitted into a 'new-style'(!) RBA coil head for immersion in e-juice + air-flow....
Shame as was hoping these ceramics would give Me the best of both worlds Re. Origen RDA & In'Ax Hybrid.
I'll be trying cutting the B/F pin flush to deck on My Velocity clone in order to make some room but that ain't gonna solve the air-flow prob.
If that don't work.....a >22mm Kennedy clone will get bought as a last try!!

yourgurnard I've got a 28.5mm clone coming from FT Zephyr Buddha clone to see how it pans out, So far I've had no success with them as trying to get them into a standard 22mm or 24mm build deck just results in a broken leg at the solder joint. And a lot of cursing.

sydsut Cheers, the Budd is already in the FT 'wishlist'!..........
I'm not too hopeful with these tbh, the thickness of the ceramic seems to limit wicking speed & 'ramp up' time. Nowhere near as good as the wicks that c/w the In'Ax....but FT don't sell 'em!!
& Yes, I broke the 1st one at the leg joint! 2nd time, I held the joint wiv ceramic-tipped pliers whilst I bent the wire & fitted it wiv a 2nd pair....fiddly!

...now using 2 bits of silica wick into tank to feed the ceramic...sorta defeating the point really!!

I think I've seen a vid on wicking it with cotton, but your right, completely defeats the purpose.
