I still use a 306 atomiser to test out new juices. I dare say a lot of people won't even know what one of those is!
Never really got into the rebuildable side of things but I do mess about with a Magma and now a Serpent Mini. The current set ups are a Coolfire 4 Plus with isub G tank and a Tesla Stealth with the Shadow tank. More than happy with both of them. Still got some mechs, and a couple of Provaris for when I fancy a change.

I'm another that didn't take to sub ohming and direct lung inhales - still MTL at 24mg
While it is true that you need to use much lower nic content juice if you go for sub ohm, I suspect this is at least to some extent set off by getting through more juice. I only use 2/3 ml of juice a day.

Having said all that I do have a number of "sub-ohm" tanks. With the Kanger range for instance they do a decent rebuildable atomiser for a couple of quid and you can then coil it to whatever resistance you like. Most of these tanks also allow you to vary the airflow, so you can close it down to whatever you like as well.

What I would recommend though is getting some cotton and trying that - It is pretty much all I use these days for wicks.

sub ohming is purely for the annoyance of others for me and I'm rather good at it
by far the best bits of kit for doing this are mini goblin for under 50 watts and vcmt for over(just ask in smoking shelter were I work
I use 3mg in these tanks

I use mtl tanks for not smoking and the best 3 ive had are the ks tank(only really suitable for box mods),erl erokine and kfun v3 mini
the mini has to be about the easiest tank ive ever had to build
I use 12mg

I still say that its not so much the tank that give flavour more the coil that you can fit in it and how it wicks
I still think more air means less flavour unless your really up there in the power
and I'm still not sold on vertical coils

new fangled wires and tc has been fun to mess with but ultimately I still then to use kanthal and a mech unless I'm in the smoking shelter then the vmct and rx200 come out using ss in power mode
do have to admit to not having a dna so poss not had best experience with tc but ss seems to work best with my rx200 and, you can use it in norm wattage mode and it has a quick ramp up time
so might be worth getting some ss 317/316L to play with if you just fancy trying something diff

tbh I look at all the new sub ohm tanks and think why do they keep trying to recommend them to peps that just want to quit smoking instead of a protank mini and a spinner batt
oh yes because of cost

It's good crack at work winding people up at work with a well placed cloud. For anyone that doesn't know me I wouldn't dream of it. Quite a few cloud chasers in work now none of them enthusiasts like me but we have some decent banter its all good

Another one here that didn't get on with sub ohming. I mainly stick with my Aerotanks.
