So frustrating! Please help :-(

Good afternoon each.

Fairly new vaper. Using an Aspire Nautilus, Cool Fire IV+ battery, 1.6 BVC coils and Watts between 9.5 and 13.0

I bought a load of the fabulous "Rejuiced" liquids with extra flavour shots. (All 6mg nicotine)

Vaped them on arrival and they were superb - great flavour, nice and smooth.

I've left them to "steep" for a week and I am now getting the most horrible exhale "throat hit" and the flavour seems to have reduced :-(

I'm using a new coil. Tank swapped and washed out and dried after each flavour change.

I though I had finally found my nirvana with Rejuiced :-(

Any ideas on where I'm going wrong......?

It could be a duff coil (nautilus coils are sometimes a bit meh!) - try a fresh coil to see if they fixes it... they should last 2+ weeks depending on how much they gunk up

or have you changed the air control ring ? maybe that's influencing the flavor?

Thanks for the reply. I always use the widest hole on the air ring.

So far I have been changing coil (needed or not) every two weeks.

Could the extra flavour shot be the problem?

i wouldn't have thought so. I often get re juiced (bought 120ml of blue slush on special last week) but never opted for the extra flavor shot.

I have about 8 of them in my cupboard. The vanilla custard and you choc donut are stunning. I was disappointed I found the Mamma's Milk really scented...

Its probably just a glitch in your taste buds.
I get it every now and then , so nothing to worry about.
Normal service will resume shortly no doubt.

Shouldn't be ghostrider1971 . . . . more likely to be a wonky coil - I use a Nautilus regularly with my home brews which aren't short on flavour(!) and find every so often I get a duff coil as has been said.

Pretty gross when it happens, but all is restored with a new coil.

Hello ghostrider1971, just wanted to mention that when I was using them, the stock coils for the Nauti (when new) always tasted pretty bad until they were really well broken in. I'm wondering whether this could be the problem you're experiencing?

I wonder if it's just your taste buds? A similar thing happens to me about every couple of weeks, everything I vape tastes of bitter poison !!! Like a real nasty sharp lemony flavour? Yesterday it happened, I was vaping home made blueberry and strawberry, I got up this morning and it tastes lovely again. (i didn't change anything, it was the same juice as yesterday)
It normally lasts about a day and I've got no idea why it happens?

It sounds like vapours tongue, which is just one of those things that occur from time to time. Vaping a strong menthol or menthol based juice can often help alleviate it's effect. Hope this helps.

im actually getting a harsh throat hit now myself but with dragons rise custard and ive still got over 700ml to get through.
was perfect after 2 weeks but now theve been steeping for 2 months the harsh throat hit has started.
not VT as all other juice (7 various on the go at a time) are all spot on.

so, could well be naff nicotine thats got worse after steeping but this is just a guess.

My remedies for 'vapers tongue' are an aniseed/strong custard for a while...

But have no idea re the strong throat hit on exhale? Maybe add a little glycerine from boots (about £2- value - in children's cough medicine section)
