No need Hissie, 7 presses of the power button on your lovely lavatube, and it tells you what voltage the battery is currently reading at... when it drops to around 3.4 time to charge... so I'm told. It really is great.

Great Hissie, i love mine too, i've got a silver coloured normal sized one & a black 18350 one, the small one doesn't half go thro the batts fast tho...

Alvo, i change the batts when they drop to 3.6, or earlier, if i'm going out.
