Although we are now heading out of Brussels control, I can see the effects of the TDP lasting longer than we could have hoped for and with this in mind, when TDP starts to bite and we can no longer obtain Nic Base, will there be any point in Vendors still stocking Flavour Concentrates or any of the other chemicals we use for mixing our own.
I know that some of these will be available elsewhere, but the majority of flavours that we as vapers use, have been solely developed for the Vaping Community and it is these that I think may disappear.
Hopefully not, but I am concerned that they might.

Hopefully not, but I am concerned that they might. You will still be able to get nic ok in a smaller amount but you will still get all the bits you need to diy so flavours will still be available

Not sure lobeydosser .... e-liquid manufacturers will still need 'vaping' flavourings.... as to how long that they'll be available though in smallish bottles, from the UK, though is another question. Here's hoping that there remains enough demand for quite some time!

I think you're worrying needlessly lobeydosser . . . . there's several Vendors who have created new sites soley for selling concentrates to disassociate themselves from any vaping connections and unless Home Baking is also to be restricted ( which is highly unlikely! ) then we'll be able to continue purchasing these exactly as we always have been. As indeed we will everything else we use . . . . albeit Nic Base in smaller, inevitably more expensive volumes. It's not true really to say the majority of flavours we use have been created soley for vaping, it's mainly those that have no Acetoin & Acetylpropionyl that have been.

That is the way I see it Postmodern Smoking. I honestly cannot see us having the choice of Vendors that, at present, cater for those that are into mixing their own e-liquids. Nor can I foresee the present market for these chemicals being around for overly long. I know that a number of us have stocked up for future needs, but Vendors also need an expanding market to cover their sale of stock and TDP will put the brakes on any future expansion of Vaper numbers.

How many of those currently in business do you or any of us actually buy from though lobeydosser . . . . I guess I use 2-3 on any regular basis, so whilst it's a shame not all will survive, we don't actually need the plethora of DIY Vendors we have in order to continue our home mixing.

The TPD and other factors will likely result in a number of vendors closing, like I decided to do.... so yes, I think the vendor choice will reduce, lobeydosser. But I also agree with Perpetua, we should be able to continue to obtain them from either remaining vaping vendors, other sources, or by importing.

A couple of years back when I was younger, better looking and stupid, I invested in a whole pile of CCW and other makes of various flavours that I have not, so far used, so even if I cannot get my favourite flavours in the future, I will always have something to fall back on if needs be. And I suppose I could always try to blend my own concentrates to try to replicate the tobacco flavour that is my present favourite. I am fairly certain that its basis is a mixture of caramel and liquorice. But hopefully, as Perpetua says, there will still be a vendor left that will be stocking my favourite concentrate.

What is your current favourite concentrate lobeydosser ? I'm using Royal. It is a tobacco flavour that I think is made by FlavourArt, but it is sold through a number of Vendors.

Thanks Postmodern Smoking. I have 1.7 litres of the Royal Flavouring in my stash already, but it was for future buys that I am concerned about. We have no idea as to how long we will be subjected to the silliness of the TDP and whether it will still be enforced 6,7 10 years down the line.

"1.7 litres of Royal flavouring" I hope that it doesn't go off / loose its flavour too much before you get around to using it all lobeydosser ... or are you currently mixing for Scotland?

It is all in unopened sealed 100ml brown bottles in the bottom of the freezer.
It will hopefully keep me going until I run out of nic base etc, but if not, I have some back up concentrates that will tide me over until I find another source.
Really I am more concerned for others who are just starting the mixing hobby and where they are going to obtain the concentrates that they are falling in love with at the moment and where they may be able to obtain them in the future.
No matter what hobby I take part in, be it Vaping, Gardening or Camping, "Freedom of Choice" has always been my underlying ruling. TDP is trying to restrict my basic concept and for that alone, it is an abomination.

Concentrates, VG and PG are non concerns in the scheme of the TPD . . . . it's Nic Base after May 2017 where it will really bite and have effect lobeydosser.
