Morning all!
I've decided to take the plunge and have a go at VERY basic DIY :-)
I've ordered some premixed 70/30 (VG) with 6mg nicotine and some Heisenberg and Pinkman concentrate...
I'm sure this is a really silly question, but.....
Making 50ml of juice at between 10-20% flavour - that would be 45ml of premix and 5ml of flavour upto 40ml of premix and 10ml of flavour?
I will try a smaller bottle first
Is it really as easy as add premix, add concentrate and shake?
Sincere apologies for newbie questions :-)

Simple answer is yes mate both of them flavours are pretty much shake n vape as well TBH I would still mix them leave with the caps off for 24hrs then recap shake the crap out of them and leave for another 24hrs I used to mix the heisenburg for a mate and he said 17% was spot on for him but we all have a different taste buds so do a couple of different strengths to try until you find your happy place.
Happy mixing

Yes, it is that easy ghostrider1971 ----------------------------------------- Note your for 6ml premix will also be diluted depending on how much flavouring, to become: With 10% flavouring, 5.4 mg/ml nic with 20% flavouring, 4.8 mg/ml nic

Don't ever apologise for asking questions ghostrider1971, we've all had to learn at some stage . . . . and are indeed still learning as there's always something new to discover about our wonderful habit - whatever aspect of it that may be! And the question you ask, might be the one someone else doesn't have quite the confidence to - so keep asking any and all questions you have. I'll just say, home mixing also ought to be a fun and enjoyable pursuit as well as a means to an end - so don't get too hung up on accuracy to the infinite degree. Happy Mixing!

once you get the hang of it it's very easy... this evening while watching something on iplayer I mixed up 300ml of my ADV custard and 6 other 10ml testers for other flavors I'm experimenting with... So that's October sorted... and a reminder for some of the things I'll be picking up at VF this weekend...

Is there a starter kit I can buy and where is best place to get it.

Hope you don't mind me butting in on your thread but I also have a question about DIY. I would also like to try mixing but don't know where to start really. Is there a starter kit I can buy and where is best place to get it. I'd suggest if you'd prefer to get a starter kit - as you may well feel that would give you the initial confidence to get going arieskaz , that you also check out The Ecig Shop as they also stock a good range of concentrates that you'll also need to get going and it would save a little on postage. Their ' One Shots ' especially are worth buying as the individual flavours are already pre-blended for you: thee-cigshop.co.uk/thee-cigshop.co.uk/DIY/starter-kitsthee-cigshop.co.uk/DIY/flavour-concentrates-15ml--100ml/mixology---one-shotsEverythingliquid is another place to look: everythingliquid.co.uk/shop

You're welcome arieskaz . . . . there's just soooooooooooooo much choice now, I'd suggest not going around in too many circles - but opting for a kit that suits your budget and a few concentrates to get going. Then once you've got the basics under your belt, expand your horizons as and when you feel confident to. You'll also need a calculator of some description . . . . this is what I started with and have stuck to: ejuice.breaktru.com/Although once again there are numerous choices now, our forum calculator being one: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/page/calculator

I like this as i can use it on the computer or on the phone (web based) - e-liquid-recipes.comi like mixing by weight as there is no cleanup and i am lazy it all seems a little daunting at first so ask as many questions as you need! you will get to grips with it in no time at all. good luck and welcome to the wonderful world of mixing

You're a diamond Perpetua! I have just had a quick look at some of the kits but I'm still confused about pg & vg I'm assuming I need to get some of each. It sure is daunting Tom still not convinced I have confidence
