So packing has started in the old cave.



OK I admit its only the tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag in the holdall so far but you have to start some time. . .

Yes the holdall is only a tiny 144 litre capacity but does have 5cm wheels and a reinforced spine and should fit everything I need.

Ohh, my case is semi packed and has been all week --- its the excitement!
Mind you, I cheat? have car to myself so I yank the futon mattress off kids spare truckle bed and throw it on back seat. As near to comfort as I can get

Don't be daft, that's why the bag is so big so it will fit camping gear and rum !

That is pretty much my daughters packing list only hers is all in her head so when it actually comes to packing she is at a total loss and begs me to help, I really don't mind but she is bliddy 18 now and last week packing still at 11pm when we were leaving for the airport at 1.30am was not at all funny, made worse by the fact that she stays with her Dad in his house which is fully equipped with everything she needs toiletries wise! Her case was only just under the limit this year!
