Vg/pg and coils

Hi there. Still going strong and enjoying my Aspire Plato.
Ive just bought some eliquid, (One Hit Wonder, Milkman) and Just noticed its 80vg/20pg. Im using the nautilus 1.8 coil on the plato. Is this ok to use or is the liquid to thick ( a bit like me and knowledge of coils etc 🙈)

I have aspire nautilus mini's (and other tanks that use those coils) and use up to 90vg DIY eliquid and haven't had any issues with dry hits --- and I'm a serial chain vaper, I'm sure you will be fine Smokeyjo75

Like Pep, I'm a VG heavy vaper and would/do use those coils without problems Smokeyjo75 . . . . the milder ( summer ) weather we currently have, also helps to loosen the viscosity of thicker eliquids.

I cant seem to find the right spot. Hard to explain but it tastes very bland , not much flavour at all. I read that 13 watts is probably the highest you should go on a 1.8?

Most admit I don't ever go above 11-12 watts with the Nauti coils , I guess an average is around 10 for me to suit my tastes once a coil is run in . . . . presumably you've tried working up from a low setting Smokeyjo75?

Yes Perpetua. I started low but actually it seems ok now 😀 at 11-12w. Patience was never my strong point 🙃.
To be honest i think this liquid needs to be steeped for a while !

Had the ohw stuff and thought it was crap. Completely bland and too subtle to get any flavour off at all. Taste is subjective though as usual as lots of people love the stuff. I get nothing from it.

OHW Milk Man is my favourite juice - taste is so subjective. Bought 20ml for £10 on a recommendation and liked it so much I bought 180ml from Gourmet E-Liquid for £40.

I run it in my Nautilus - 1.6 ohm coil at 12.5 watts is the sweet spot for me. It's a lush creamy vape with an aftertase of mild strawberry.
I can certainly put 30ml or more through the tank before the coil degrades - I get my coils from here Shoreditch on Amazon

It doesn't need steeping - it's been imported from the USA and has been bouncing around in ship and lorry before it gets here.

one hit wonder juices are better in sub ohm tanks at at least 50watts to get the full flavor of the juice. ive tried it once in my nautilus with bothe 1.6 and 1.8 coils and it done nothing for me at all.
it even tastes totally different to me changing it from a subtank mini at 20watts to a crown or crown 2 at 50watts

after buying 5 180ml bottles of milk man i personally much prefer mole juice now which is a 70/30 clone and at £12 for 100ml and all profits going to childrens charities its a no brainer really.

everyone used to slate the price of one hit wonder when it first hit our shores in the uk but when you break it down it works out at £2.50 for 10ml and for a premium juice thats a great price.

Mmm yes im beginning to agree dalealan ! It just doesnt taste as i thought it would.. Oh well there are thousand plus more to try 🙈
I know tastes are personal, but can you or anyone recommend any brands which are really flavoursome and would work well using nautilus coils. I do prefer the sweet/ dessert flavours .

Thanks oldleatherlungs, I thought steeping would have helped the flavour somewhat. Ive also got OHW's My man .. Which tastes like "off milk" to me 😷
Back to the drawing board !
