Does it need to steep?

Probably one of the most silly questions but here it goes.

I've lately been feeling the urge to smoke. Quite often too. Caring for a stroke victim can be stressful. I'd rather go to work but I can't.

I thought it might have to do with me vaping 0% so I bought a bottle of nicotine. According to my calculations and that of the mix calculator I should be at about 6% with some of the mixes I used for this purpose. My question now is does it need to steep to fully 'settle' in?

Do you mean 6mg/ml (=0.6%) nic, and by adding stronger nicotine to ready made 0mg/ml e-liquid?
This will dilute the flavour a bit, depending on the strength of nicotine base used.


How long have you been vaping at 0mg/ml bioxx ?

I did 1.4ml on 50ml, that should be 2.8% if I see that right. Its ready mixed 0% juice.

You're getting mixed up with % and mg/ml bioxx 2.8% = 28mg/ml i.e. pretty strong if you're used to 0 nic.

If your nicotine base is 72mg/ml then adding 1.4ml of it to 50ml of 0 nic will give you approximately 2mg/ml (0.2%)

If you want to achieve 3mg/ml (0.3%) then you would need to add 2.2ml of 72mg/ml nic base to 50ml of 0mg/ml

Yes, I know my calculation was based on 100% nicotine. Ending up with 0.2% is fine with me.

100% nicotine is 1000mg/ml.
Do you mean 10%=100mg/ml?

That will give you about 2mg strength

Assuming that bioxx means it is 72mg/ml nicotine base, then yes


(72%= 720mg/ml !)

Yes, 7.2% = 72mg/ml

So adding 1.4ml of 7.2% to the 50ml of 0 nic will take your eliquid up to 2mg/ml (=0.2%) nic
