I am a big fan of Celtic Vapours RY8, it has been one of the ADV's for me for more than 2 years. They recommend mixing at 20% but I mix at 25% as I like stronger flavours. I am not aware of any dissie codes.

Oh dear, you are opening up a can of worms now Tobacco mixes are probably the most subjective of all. Some peeps like them at very low percentages while others go for very high. Some like to add nut, caramel, coconut, ginger etc in their mixes while some purists see this as heresy. Have a look in the tobacco section of the mixology board recipes ... lots of suggestions there including my own three favourites: Frogster's tobacco, Cuban Haze and Ginger Rollie. ETA: I would point out that you will NEVER replicate the taste of a real tobacco cigarette with a concentrate ... to get any way close you need to get into the whole tobacco leaf distillation process which is way too much of a faff for a lazy bugga like me.

I just counted over 20 tobacco concentrates in my box and only two are worth vaping IME. I had visions of creating a nice dark spicey tobacco blend but I have accepted it is just a pipe dream (forgive the pun). I had an ex Para mate who once ate the contents of a full ashtray because I dared him too after a pint or two. I expect he thought up some of these concentrate flavours after doing that as I bet they taste similar. TLDR - yuck. A few months back someone posted a thread on TFA's RY4D (10%) and AP (1%) and I thank them for it. Such a simple recipe, but so so good. It's the closest sensation to a real cigarette I've vaped, but yet it tastes nothing like a cigarette or tobacco. It's a desert vape and there is tobacco and vanilla in there for sure, but what else is anyones guess. It's not overpowering and you can vape it all day, every day. It sits in my No 1 tank and has done since I got it. Needs a 4+ week steep. Mom & Pops Tobacco Praze @ 20% (Chefs Flavours). I luckily discovered this early on in my vaping life and I still always have a tank full by my side (my Kayfuns love it). It has an earthy, green leaf, honey sweet taste. Not overpowering and a great ADV. It's not for everyone though, some even say it smells of BO (yuck), but I personally can't get enough of it. If you want a tobacco vape without the traditional "ashy" or smokey taste, this might be worth a try. Needs a 6+ week steep IMO or it has a strong perfume smell/taste. I found a shop in the UK that sells NET tobacco concentrates and was going to try them out as they have good reviews, but I have decided to stop searching now and be happy with what I have. If you are interested I'll dig the link out. Edit: Found the link: www.bestcigliquid.co.uk/diy-e-liquid-concentrates-for-e-liquid-mixing.html (check the juice section for reviews on the flavours)

If anyone is interested in NET concentrate I have some which has been steeping for almost a year that I have no use for. Cover P&P and it's yours... All extracted from pipe tobacco and I've 4 different flavors... but I've moved off from tobacco's so it's time to reclaim the kilner jars

Personally I want my tobacco flavour to taste as close to the fags I used to smoke, as I can get. After trying many different flavours, I found the Royal Tobacco was as close to the Mayfair fags I was used to.
FA sell the concentrate (as do others). It is a smooth and mellow taste and I mix it at 10% flavour. It needs almost no steeping although I usually give it a week.

That's a very generous offer pipeman01 and I was tempted for a moment, but I am going to resist the urge as I decided recently to stick to what I have for the forseable future. I did do some research on home made NET's a couple of months back as I was considering it myself and I am aware of the effort you put in. It's a labour of love, so I hope you find a good home for it :-)

I like nearly all the Flavour Arts tobacco based flavours mixed at around 4%, but SOHO (mixed at 21%) is my favourite, the only one I really hate is 'Glory'. Maxx Blend, LicRiz and 7 Leaves are also real faves I just keep going back to. FA Perique and Dark Vapure mixed at 2% each is really nice if you like quite a strong tobacco flavour.

They both look very interesting @tubthumper so thanks for sharing. I keep seeing Dark Vapour & Perique mentioned, usually mixed together at 2% each as beedee mentioned. I have both as well, unopened, as I'm trying to convince myself I'm done with trying new tobacco recipes for now. ...Hmmm, maybe just a small test batch of each.
