Kayfun v5 - The Best MTL Tank Ever?

Well it turned up today.

Slapped a 0.8ohm build in it. Wicked her up and gave it a toot. Not bad at first. But its now settling in and the flavour is very good. Im also very happy that i can lung hit it. Its perfect on max airflow.

Just wondering what skrt of wattages you guys have managed to get it to work at?

Im chain vaping this at 25w and its keeping up brilliantly!

I usually vape at 35w on a 3mm 316L SS in TC or without it, had a genuine K5 since it first came out and for me its my everyday tank over the Hurricane 1.3 and Rose 3. Its easier to fill (takes 30 seconds) and easier to wick and the draw fully open is a perfect restricted lung hit.

Lol trust me...im a squonk lover mate. The kf5 isnt as good as my squonk set ups.

However, it IS a great RTA. I need to experiment more. I think an open coil with thicker wire will be better.


Oh...and 35w is not good in w mode lol

Got any 27g? That's the sweet spot between surface area and heat capacity...

Well we may not vape the same, but I like 7-8 wraps 27g, 2.5mm, slightly spaced, at about 12-13 watts.

I like a cool vape though, I use TC about 225°C

The trick to the cotton, is 1cm either side of the coil
Cut and poke in the wells, job done

And remember to screw the tank down when you fill it
Trust me, you only make the mistake once

Well i decided to go silly with it today...

0.4mm kanthel, 3mm coil and 0.25ohm build! I put less cotton in than i did with first build. Wow the difference!!

Much more flavour...plenty more vapour. Im really liking this tank!

Decent video on the v5, guy knows his kayfuns
