Perpetua ... please ban me if you wish, BUT how can any sane person be that interested in watching anyone baking a bl**dy cake? I don't like cake anyway! Is there any hope for the human race, or are we going the same way as the Dinosaurs? and keeping our eye 'off the ball'... humanoids 'wiped out' by a jam sponge whilst being destroyed by barbarians hiding in the oven.

I'm going to come to Perpetua 's defense here... GBBO is like Big Brother but with real people. The baking is almost incidental as the best parts are the pain and suffering of the contestants  Bake off and strictly and F1 and Dr Who is all I watch on telly... |
