Punching cartos for use in tanks

Having been interested in Tafilad's tank on his Ego, we're thinking about a tank. We have normal Boge cartomisers, but how do you punch your own cartomisers for use in tanks?

There are lots of ways to punch your carto`s.
Some vendors sell tools to do the job.
Some vapers use a dremmel to grind a slot.

I use a small triangular file to file a groove almost through the cart and then a needle to make the final hole.

I would use a punch that Karma linked to or something similar

Filing, dremmeling, drilling, hacksawing a slot will mean fine metal particles in the wadding..I know a lot of people do it but I would advise against it..

You can also use a saddle valve Kibby, if you happen to have one or have a DIY/hardware store near you.
