Those coils are easy to rebuild so DONT throw them away. If you are not up to rebuilding them yourself i am sure you will find some kind soul on here who would help you out. PS Shopkeeper was a twat I knew I'd find a use for the 100m of .32 kanthal I've just had delivered from fasttech.

If you want them re coiled and wicked with Jap cotton, save them up and post them to me and I'll sort them. I only use cotton for re wicking as I find silica wick a pain in the arse. Sometimes you see a forum post where one "like" seems very inadequate. This is one such occasion. Kudo's to you, sir.

Hi all... while waiting for vape Mail.. I am on my last coil.. i use an ghs2. Bottom coil.. The coils fit an protank as well as afew others.. Yep those pics (in your next post) show them to be very common Evod/Protank/whatever coils. Cheap and cheerful they are too. So many have and still use them. I wouldn't have much respect for any "vaping" shop if they didn't recognise those, much less be able to supply them. just feel stupid and my kit out dated.. Don't. Iffn your kit works and you are happy with it, then it's exactly right for you. About the only thing I might suggest you do differently next time is order replacement coils sooner. Oh - and, of course, never go near that place again.

I received as much help from the members here as anyone when I started vaping, so it's good at times to give a bit back. My wife still uses an evod tank which takes those coils and I re coil gill2009's as well for her army of protanks, so a few more is no biggie if it helps a member in need through an impending disaster. P.S. I can also confirm my shipping time is a lot quicker than Fasttech

wisher - So you went in to a vape shop, the eejit behind the counter didn't recognise one of the most recognisable coils on the planet and tried to fob you off and tell you that you would be better off buying your stuff from them ...... them that didn't recognise one of the most recognisable coils on the planet ....... Name the shop so someone else near by can go in and make them realise who the stupid one is in this situation cause it aint you. Oh, and the protank style may be a bit old fashioned these days in vaping terms but if you like it keep using it, there's plenty on here that still use them (I still use them myself on occasion)

Don't let ignorant people ever make you feel stupid wisher! It might reassure you to know, that despite using some of the more current equipment the GHS2 and similar tanks which take the same coils are still very much part of my daily vapes. That's a very kind offer from striker42 which I would take him up on.

Oh - and, of course, never go near that place again. Don't think I will go there again. She didnt look like she was a vaper. When I pointed out a few tanks a have used in the past, that they did have, like the kangertech mini pro tank. Saying it leaked and was disappointed with it. she pulled a face. (What err. ) Anyway this new CE5 one. Is ok.gives off the same taste and vaper as my kit. so it's nothing outstanding. She said it should last on 1 coil 2week's. have to see. Think that's a bit long.

The age old question - how long do coils last? Frankly I agree with you, 2 weeks does sound a bit long to me too. BUT, really, it depends. It depends mainly on two things - how much you vape and the sort of juice you vape with. Some juice's just glug up coils very, very quickly. Hopefully this CE5 will hold up for you until you can get replacement coils for your kit sorted..

Thank you all. You have all been so helpful. She did show me how to prime my new coil. Telling me that when I full to not get it in the centre hole. To let it stand for 5mins. And to dry sick a few times before turning the power in...
WHAT,,,,THAT IS NEW INFORMATION. Really woman. Did she think I hadn't been vapeing for years and I don't know. Arhhhhhhh. I think rant is over now. You have all been helpfull. I don't feel stupid anymore.

Oh no, don't ever allow anyone to make you feel stupid regardless of what gear you use. Your vaping choices are your preferences, not theirs and we are all different in what we like. I'm still using the old IClear 30 tanks and ny old Vamo's, VTR, MVP that I bought 2 or 3 years ago and I'm very happy and comfortable with them. Even when items become outdated, you can still usually find them online. One or two fellow vapers have made comments to me, such as "What the heck is THAT you're using?" but as long as I'm happy with what I use I shall carry on.

What a shame that shop isn't near me, I would so love to pay a visit. I know which of us would feel stupid as I walked out the door!
