Vape Friendly Pubs

Thought I'd seen a thread for this somewhere, where we could post pubs that are vape friendly to be added to a map, but can't find it now, so posting here, sorry if that's wrong.

Anyway, on a recent away trip we asked at our chosen watering hole if we could vape, the bar staff didn't know what we were talking about, and went to get the manager, who seemed quite clued up and said of course we can, so we did. Decent away friendly pub too

Great Idea I was just discussing this subject earlier, Only been vaping a week so decided to phone a few locals tonight who all said we are to stand with the smokers #icon_nono#

On another away trip, another vape friendly pub, this time in/near Bristol... Although the chap at this one didn't seem to fully understand, but when we explained what it was, and that it was legal indoors, he said it was ok. To be fair we then went and sat in the garden anyway, as it was a decent day

I think so too, I'm sure there is somewhere we can post, and look at a map, but I can't find it now. I've also vaped in pubs in Doncaster, Chesterfield, Middlesbrough, Nottingham and others, but haven't actually asked, as they were full to the rafters. Next season, If I'm still around, I'll make a point of asking at every pub on my travels.

I've never been turned down at a pub yet. But interestingly it seems they have banned ecigs at just about every ground now, I've been asked several times upon being searched that "you are aware you can't use that in here aren't you?" Not a policy I'm happy about to be honest, and I intent to write my own club an email about it, when I can be bothered, and see what their response is.

I think if you use the term e-cigarette it just encourages them to say no as it has the word cigarette in it. I might try personal vaporizer next time.
Having said that they might think that's some sort of sci fi weapon.

I always show them at the same time as saying e-cig, I use a Riva when out, so it looks nothing like a cigarette, maybe that's why I've had more luck. I should try telling the stewards at the grounds that it is a vapour inhaler... #icon_rofl# #icon_rofl# #icon_rofl#

That's just up the road from me! I'm lucky my local and 3 other pubs in my town allow me to vape. i carry a vendors card that explains that it is legal to vape a ecig indoors and i have not been refused yet. I've even vaped in the Colston Hall in Bristol with Carol Vorderman stood near me, i even talked to her, though not vaping at that moment.

I don't get out to pubs that often these days, but a few weeks back, my next door neighbours took me out for a quick lunchtime drink in the Rashliegh Arms Charlestown -

I asked the barmaid if it was OK to use my e-cig & she said yes & that they even had a poster in the window saying e-cig users where welcome

the ones that come with your goods from the suppliers. The ones from Liberro are particularly good IMO.

Thanks chrissie, seemed like the right place at first, but the more I thought about it I felt that category was possibly best left for ECCA announcements etc.

I was there on the 31st Of March Des, shame you didn't know, we could have met up for a pint and a vape
