Although I've yet to see anyone that I don't know vaping in a bar, I've never once been asked to stop vaping in any licensed premises.
Without wishing to sound like an alcoholic, I've probably vaped in the majority of Newcastle's city centre bars and clubs and a fair few bars in other cities. If I haven't vaped in a particular bar it's only because I've never been there.
It certainly seems to me that rather than highlight which premises allow vaping we should highlight those that don't allow it. Since from personal experience alone surely the overwhelming majority of licensed premises have no problem whatsoever with e-cigs.

I produced so much vape that he swung round in panic fearing I was being a cocky sod and had lit up an analogue. It soon subsided when he saw the LT and a mischevious grin on my face  Great pub, great food, great staff and absolutely fine with vaping  |

Yates pub in Blackpool town centre is totally vape friendly. When I asked if it was ok he said yes straight away.
